  4. Dont think the machine was slow just bad positioning . The operator should not be walking to and fro . Also some of the film was in slo mo .

  7. First car Renault 750 ( look it up ) with Dophine ( sp) Gordini engine an R8 suspension and brakes . TV , Captain Pugwash ( remember the joke about seaman stains ) Blue Peter ( in black and white ) Val Singleton and Chris Trace . Winter 63 ..riding my bike on the Chichester canal ...getting bronchitis and then pneumonia at the age of 10 . Them were the days .....

  9. Happened to mine months ago . My dealer replaced it ( free of charge ) with the older , more robust bar that used to be on the 338 / 335 . Academic now as the saw fell in half a while back ....

  12. Our 201 is very " economical " with oil . It does go down but will last 2 tanks of fuel .

  16. Have got the Husqvarna very long reach ( 2x fiberglass poles that fit together ) . I have taken the engine off and fitted it to my long reach hedge cutter . Would you be interested in bar , chain , oil tank both halves of the pole and its drive shaft ? All there except for the engine ( P325 Husky ) .
  17. Putting the strop on the plastic ring is a way of stopping the rear AV spring from bending . When you look through all the broken bit on the ground you will find its not bent
  18. I got through 3 springs until my saw finally fell in half . Great shame . Good strong engine in a Cadburys chassis .......

    How to check rpm

    I was replying to kevm when he posted " can I just attach it to the fly wheel " I think he was referring to the mechanical type that spins . It has a conical point that locates in a female cone on the end of the shaft ( crank shaft ) . The one I have seen has no connection at all . Just point it at the plug cap and press the button .
  20. Yer but there is no need for a risk assessment or an in depth investigation just do what you did . Give it a go ...looks tooo dodgy call in pest control . Its just common sense surely ?

    How to check rpm

    I think the tachometer mentioned here count the spark impulses as you aim them at the plug top . Could be wrong ...........
