  1. We used to do just that for a French Pharmaceutical company . We would just cut yew hedges all day , nothing else . At that time weve were getting over a £1 a kilo . We cut it onto a tarp , bagged it in builders bags and took it back to the base . They supplied the van and paid us when we weighed in . We cut the hedges for free so as to make sure we got the job every year . As the price per kilo dropped we then had to charge the hedge owner and eventually it became not worth it .
  2. Steve . Do you think it would be possible to fit a non A/T carb to say ...a 560 ? Drill the appropriate holes in the top cover for the H , L , and T screws ?
  3. Dismantle medium nasty sized oak , chip the brash stack the logs and into hospital first thing in the morning for a new knee . See you all laters !
  4. Thats that then . Its a No . I would not any way after reading that .
  5. Interesting ! If its any good it could bring the price of Aspen down
  6. Oi oi Mike . Welcome bud . Hope you do well .
  7. RGV 250 ? or RD 350 LC perhaps ?
  8. The colder the air the more dense it is so the more oxygen it contains so bringing it in on a cold day from out side makes the burn more efficient .
  9. And what make are the boots ?
  10. That was well said ! . I don't understand why when some one asks a question some people ( not all ) seem to think they are complete idiots . When you asked the question I gave you a couple of option in answer to the question . Nothing more .
  11. I have run both and find the Sugi the equal on Canon if not better . Certainly cheaper .
  12. Fight'in talk !
  13. Burley 8kw would fit the bill . Burly stove are very simple to operate and very efficient . The 5 kw one I have is supposed to run at 89% efficiency . Your flue liner is normally a flexible stainless affair . There is a right and a wrong way up to fit them . Mine goes from the stove right to the cowel on the top of the chimny .
  14. Spud is your man ! He has ported most of my saws . It has made a huge difference . Give him a PM . I post mine to him . I think 254 responds well to some porting ......
  15. Husqvarna quote identical specs for both saws . 59.8cc 4.7hp and 3.65Nm torque .
  16. Legendary saw me thinks ! Oilers pack up from time to time thats about all . Big compression for small saw .
  17. Don't think they are more powerful in standard form . The big bars are probably skip chain and run in soft wood . The actual moter is the same as a 560 as I understand it . Therese plenty of tweekers in US though . Petemate has tweeked my 560 and it runs stronger than standard .
  18. Pretty much the same saw . only difference is High top filter , different clutch side cover , and as said 3/8 running gear .
  19. Sickening . Loathsome scrotes . Really sorry to hear it .
  20. Blimey thats twice now . He did in another post as well
  21. Needs to cut those stumps nearer the collar ...
  22. A joey ! (silver threepenny bit ) and my Gran used to pay the milk man with plastic Co-Op tokens
