Its personal thing really . If your bar is long enough and you are on the hurry up you can do everything from one side . Put you gob in with a pulling chain then stay right were you are and put your back cut in with a pushing chain .

Its just the normal attachment underneath . I know what you mean though some are almost full but not quite . In the big plan of the universe its not a big deal .

Yea legit but....you will have to pay import duty + handeling fee etc,etc, and if you need a warranty claim its a long way to go oh and only a small thing but it wont be CE marked if that bothers you ..

I was like you and had been using a saw for years . About 10 or 12 years ago I did cs 30 / 31 . I passed it ok and it was commented that I seemed to know more than the other people but , don't be complacent . You may be totally competent but to get the tickets do it the way they want on the day .

The good thing is even with a long bar , when you set the saw down it keep[s the cutters off the deck .

Cross cutting is not affected . The only thing that can be a problem , albeit a small one , is you cant fell really tight to the ground .

I have a full wrap like that on my 395 and whats left of that yellow label says " PRO SAFETY HANDLE " if that helps .

Not silly at all . Makes perfect sense .

Planted ten or twelve pleached laurels (with the bamboo frames on the crowns ) to give this instant effect . The growth started about head height . Trees were spaced so that the crowns were top quite touching . About 8 feet apart I would think . It was last year .

Just a thought .....Supermarket fuel with higher ethanol content can make this happen ....
