  1. The dog was not tied to the bench . The lead and phone were on the bench . The dog was mooching about near by .
  2. Glad you got it sorted and thanks for posting as such . Not everyone does .

    Jokes???

Tell me about it ! 🙂
  4. The police are now saying that she fell in the river . I'm not buying that . Any one who has ever had a spaniel knows if you go in the river the dog is strait in as well . The dog was bone dry and next to her phone and the bench . The river looked to be a slow flowing thing but looks can be deceiving . No evidence of a disturbance on the bank . She was , they say , a good swimmer . There is no body . Thoughts ?

    stop go signs

and the two guys can take all the abuse , death threats and curses ...🙂
  6. Yep it was in a large Country House here on the West Sussex/Hampshire border ( about in line with Emsworth but in land a bit ) You could see the graft line clearly . It was massive though , probably 5 to 6 feet in diameter at the fat end . Beautiful tree .
  7. I could not work this out . How do you heat something down to 5-6C ? Then I realized there should be a full stop after semi ! 😀
  8. Before you tighten the the the nuts fully make sure you have the bar in its upmost position . .lift the chain away from the bar , you should see about half the depth of a drive link . tighten the bar nuts buy hand , hold the saw by the back handle and drop the tip onto a log and then fully tighten the bar nuts without taking the tip off the log . This way the bar will not move causing the chain to go slack .
  9. Ok . I worked on a fern leaved beech once . Some of the lower branches had been cut and when it sprouted it reverted to the original standard leaf . Was odd to look at .
  10. Don't sugar coat it Joe , tell it like it is FFS 🙂
  11. Bit like the Husqvarna 365Xtorque and 372Xtorque . Same saw . Just got some restrictor fins in the transfer covers . Take the covers off , grind of the fins and " shazam " a 372Xtorque .
  12. Fcuk . Big up to you for telling all . That aside I do sincerely hope you make the best recovery you possibly can matey . Don't forget you missus will be entitled to some sort of payment for being your carer , I think .
  13. No it doesn't matter but if they are all a similar length is that not a bit of a neater trick ? Like chuck two logs on the stove or chuck one log and then three smaller bits , Oh I don't care do what ever 😁
  14. Or just cut them in half without measuring anything .
  15. I would not " shorten them ", you just end up with lots of little stubby bits . Just cut them in half on a band saw or table saw . Same number of cuts and no need to measure anything .
  16. The next one up in the range is the 8kw I think . Looks the same just bigger . Check it out . Might fit your logs .
  17. Oh no , not cod wood 😄
