  1. Its call out weather for you working boys I would think ...
  2. I had the early one before it went to 50cc . It had no de comp and was a cracking little saw . Very akin to the 242xp me thinks . It got stolen by some council worker from out of the chipper .
  3. Back a few years ago I thought a Ruger 222.50 was loud as fook !
  4. I think you have a fuel related problem . I know you have looked at that Re the carb and fuel lines but maybe dig a little deeper . Maybe the gauze filter in the carb ?
  5. Recently finished " The Comfort Crisis " by Michael Easter . Worth a read IMHO .
  6. Mark might be interested in the Stella Cherry ....
  7. Looks like the first signs of Honey Fungus .
  8. Its ash by the bucket load here . So much of it now . Not what he says in his article .
  9. Could be the tank vent blocked so pulling a vacuum . Or could be low compression , once it warms up clearances open up to the point it won't support combustion , possibly .
  10. A flat piece of plastic sheet ( ABS or similar ) glued to the inside so that it overlaps the hole then lay the piece that was knocked out onto that and glue that in place . Fill any gaps and prime then paint . Or a quick fix wide gorilla tape .

  16. That knob Herbrand Russel ( The 11th duke of Bedford ) introduced the grey from the USA together with the Glis glis asround 1876 . ( I saw him do it ) Wanker !
  17. This is true . Most of the hedge row elm are from suckers and the actual root system can be yonks old . As you rightly say they grow to about a foot or so diameter at the fat end then expire only to shoot again with new suckers .
  18. That's a grey seal just off Selsey 🙂
  19. Out and through the chipper in an hour providing there is not much of a drag . They leave a bit of mess to rake up . I don't like them in gardens , out in the wild is different . The only plus I can see is its a warm roost for local birds .
