  1. When the crew come to tidy it up offer the boss a drink , and he might even drop it round to you .
  2. The corner of the telly is a bit close to the arm of the sofa ! ๐Ÿ˜€
  3. Its ok AJ , you can mention tools to avoid ! ๐Ÿ™‚
  4. The story about marine 2t oil is the viscosity is different from " lawn mower " 2t because the out board motor runs cooler than say , a chain saw , as the out board motor is water cooled .
  5. I am pretty much exactly the same as you in this respect I have DeWalt kit that has been faultless for me . Its the very last of the Brush type motors and I was thinking of going all Milwaukee . I was told by a geezer " In the know " that there is Milwaukee and there is Milwaukee ! He said there is a range that they do for the " Screwfix " type market and the better version that you have to get from the Milwaukee site .
  6. So what ratio mix do you use , just curious as I would not use anything other than 50:1 .
  7. Just coz I have been curious and because the two main players seem to not be able to supply batteries , I bought a back handle 40v battery saw . Its a garden center/B+Q type of thing . Its called Yard Force . I got saw and 3x 40v batteries and charger for ยฃ180 . It has a 14" bar and narrow gauge chain , 'orrible tooless tensioner ( but it works ) and If you don't try and use it like a petrol saw it does cut surprisingly well . You have to let the saw do the work without leaning on it but you quickly find the sweat spot for max efficiency . The only thing I really don't like about it is the dead mans button . Instead of being where a conventional saw would be its on the side of the handle and you have to keep it pressed with the side of your thumb . I might wire it together so its always live .
  8. No you wally ! I thought I was replying to Doobin for some reason ! ๐Ÿ˜€
  9. Thanks for that I have always been a shit speller !
  10. Are you in tomorrow at your yard ? I could come up for a cuppa tea if you are not bizzy ?
  11. From my missus I got an Orangutan . I now am the adopted father of a young female orangutan named " Hujan " and I could not be more proud . Also I have a card ( like a credit card ) that allows me into Monkey World whenever I want . ๐Ÿ‘
  12. Ok Doobs . What is it you don't like about ported saws ? ( apart from some being a bit louder )
  13. Thanks for that bud . How far back will 25 years of research get you ?
  14. Go on Andrew , mention them ๐Ÿ˜€
  15. I know this is probably not what you Ford geezers need to hear but ....None of the above problems happen with my 71 plate Navara Nguard . Approx 230HP ( with Tunit box and blue tooth throttle repsponce billiedoo ) Add blue has never been asked for after 5K but I put some in anyway so it have may been close . I love this truck . Don't do much towing but average MPG ( albeit on the onboard read out ) is is around the 34.7 mark .
  16. Is his name Andy , the blue hair dude , or is that your man mate ?
  17. My advice ( as it always is ) is to buy the best pro saw you can currently afford . Once you get it , a short period of time will pass and you won't understand how you ever managed with just this one saw . You will then need another , bigger pro saw , and then another etc etc . Then you will need to get them ported coz that's a thing , and then the snow ball keeps on rolling ! ๐Ÿ™‚
  18. Any one done this ? If so whats the best site to use and any other icky snarlers and pitfalls to olver come ?
  19. Doobs the postie who come to us in Lavant ( he has blue hair , something to do with supporting the NHS ) is still working .
  20. I have heard that old stubby is a bit of knob jockey , he should be in there . ๐Ÿ™‚
