  5. I do have , somewhere a set of " over sized " dawgs , inner and outer , brand new for a 562 . ( thats how I know they wont fit a 560 ) if you are interested . ( cost me £28 + £19 postage from USA ) Make me an offer .
  6. Great minds and all that Steve
  7. In that case its VERY NOT AS Described ! Should be spares or repairs . Ebay usually side with the buyer ( weather they are deserving or not ) . Open up a case with ebay Item not as described stating the faults . You have a certain amount of time . Also you can file a case with paypal if you used that to pay with . They have a longer time period in which to file .
  8. When he says " the bearings " What bearings is he referring to ? If its the crank bearings that are shot then yea , its a lemon . If you take the recoil off and try and turn the engine buy hand with the plug out does it still go stiff ? If not its just the recoil itself that is wrong . They do tend to bend the metal pegs that drive the motor round when you pull . All this is academic of course as you are sending it back .
  9. Maybe you could loose one Transit , other than that its normal .
  10. I think that copper had to take his test again if I remember correctly . It was then that people started to photo copies of their licence before sending them off for renewal .
  11. They are just reacting to the bizzy body doo gooder neighbour me thinks .
  12. Well seasoned , dry wood will smoke a bit on initial light up but once stove is up to temp there is very little smoke . On mine you cant tell its alight from the outside of the house once its been going for a bit .
  13. Is it a Defra appoved wood burner only ( not multifuel ) If so what else can you do ?
  14. It would run just like all Chinese saws .............
  15. How bad is the cylinder . As said it might be SALVAGEABLE......
  16. Temp tumbling down this evening ( Sun 22nd ) Stove going nicely . Most of the chimney pots here in the village are smoking .
  17. All good then ! I see the welded repair on your back hoe arm is holding out OK !
  18. I passed my car test in 1970 so I can fly a space shuttle towing a Churchill tank I think .
  19. If you remove the transfer covers you will see on the inside that there is a fin on each . A kind of restriction . If you carefully remove them with , say a Dremmel or similar it then becomes identical to the 372Xtorque saw only a few quid less in price . Ridicules I know but there it is .
  20. If you can afford a new 365Xtorque ( and I know this has been said before ) you can grind the fins of the inside of the transfer covers and you have an instant 372 Xtorque for 365 money . Just a thought .
