  2. Nope . Use the Sugihara ones from Rod D . No cut protection . A little bit of AV in the palms .
  3. I use the " girlie " butten coz Im old and when I didn't it bent the dowels on the starter mech .
  4. I am missing something probably but how is the fuel filter ( on a brand new saw ) going to make it hard to pull over ?

  7. Check the 2 metal dowels that engage in the starter pull aren't bent yet ( they will eventually )

  12. X27 and cheap fiber glass handled maul . Don't use either as I have a cone splitter and a hydraulic splitter coz Im old !
  13. Yea . Got the Woodchuck pickaroon but I recon the beak is not long enough .
  14. Some times it helps also to bore the hinge also ( in addition to leaving some holding wood at the back ) so there are less fibers attached .

  18. I have heard " chipper ticket " mentioned . Not got one myself and used a chipper for ever but it may be a requirement nowadays .

  21. If you put it in google there is a youtube vid near the top of the list ere an American faller demonstrates it very well . You can see it correct the side lean as the steps of the Dutchman collapse and then come over in the direction of the intended fell .
