  1. I remember when I was an " oik " sharing one of those with 2 other kids in the play ground . We had proper winters then . Not so much now .
  2. Oil tank should empty slower thank fuel tan by design . Should be a breather somewhere .
  3. Probably need to increase the capacity of hydraulic oil tank ( so it does not over heat ) , also increase the internal dia of the hoses and and actuator valve and finally a bigger engine to power it .
  4. I would say faster cutting as it wont bog and clog like a full comp chain .
  5. Especially with a big 90cc saw !. Watched a vid with a pair of strides strapped to a saw horse . Quite a difference . Would not have cut your leg right off but you would have bleed to death without instant surgery .
  6. They do stop as the ballistic material wraps around the drive sprocket as it is intended . You do however get more penetration than you would with a coasting chain .

  8. Electric motors can be wound in such a way as to give you a " dead stop " ( I believe there is a small amount of current sent the opposite way through the armature giving a braking effect ). With a petrol/gas saw you get a coasting chain when you let go the trigger . With an electric motor wired this way you don't get a coasting chain . you get a dead stop .
