  2. Wondered were you had got to Stephan ! Don't forget mate you are a long time dead . You don't want to be the richest man in the grave yard ! ?
  3. I use 4.0mm square Diamond edge made by Dessert Extrusions on the 55 cc brushcutter and 3.0mm on the 45cc . I use a 4 line head but only use 2 lines in the lower slots ( see pic ) . I use a 4 line head because it keeps the nut recessed . I find the plastic cone hat covers it flies off never to be seen again . If you buy a 2 line head the nut protrudes and will dig in the ground . Cut a length ( I use about 9inches ) push it into the slot from the wide opening , right through to leave a short tail long enough to get some pliers on when you want to pull it out . give it a little tug back for the internal jaws to grip it .
  4. If you use a guard with a blade in they will be cut by that . I choose not to use a guard as I find it a hindrance . Therefore I can use a longer length . You need 45cc or more though .
  5. They are like confetti ! . Were are you looking , the green grocer ?
  6. It may well be the correct head but usually there is a selection of washers or you have left something else out of the stack up . Not keen on bump feed heads my self . thats why I use a Jet Fit .
