  1. Have you watched a pair of crows working a hedge row . Worse than a fox I recon .
  2. A pair of crows will do more harm than cats ...
  3. In the woods it used to be 3 strokes per tooth ( with a file ) every fill up .
  4. Looks a little like the Burley range of stoves . Mine is wood only though and the glass is double glazed .
  5. Ha , yes . This would be because its an " old tech " type engine . Probably a copy of an engine designed when we used " old tech " oil as well .
  6. Its actually the same engine in the 562 as the 560 . Slightly more output on the oil pump ( for longer bars ) and running 3/8 cutting gear . There is the high top filter and cover but its not more powerful .
  7. Top plate type file guide for me ( although I can do free hand ) Check depth gauges with a pressed steel gauge . If they need it 2 or 3 strokes with a flat file and put the gauge back on to check . I never file the rakers with the gauge on . If its soft it will file the gauge away , if its hard it will dull the file .

Not used one and not likely to now but , as above , I have heard other people say that it takes several tank fulls to get the best out of them .
  9. Low comp symptoms. When it gets hot tolerances open up to the point were it won't support combustion . Possibly ...
  10. it was a feeble attempt at some mirth . I work like a goodun .
  11. The shooting ones ( I have some ) I think work on the shock wave hitting the defender and closing it off before it reaches your ear drum . They are tuned to this frequency hence you are able to converse whilst wearing them but the gunshot report is significantly reduced , So , I don't think they would work . Yellow foam ones do though . I used to use them on track days on my bike and they reduced the wind noise you get from the fairing .
  12. Can't be bothered to reply to that one .
  13. Erik . What a fantastic life bud !
  14. Where are you / is it ?
