  1. Ok . Its just when you said " fake stove " and no chimney you were referring to the one in the post . Sorry mate , I am old ! ?
  2. Not sure but isn't in just an inset stove ? burns logs like any other . Dosn't radiate as much heat as a free standing stove but does the radiators as well so that's not really a problem . Or has this gone right over my head again Steve ? ?
  3. I have yet to see any animal pick up a weapon and fight back no mater what anyone hunts it with . There is loads of stalking around here with Fallow Roe Munties etc etc . Most taken with a .308 . To be honest we are over run with bambie around here but a sheep ? seriously ?
  4. Sweep mine every year my self . House was built with a fire place and chimney . It is what it is . The insurance company have never asked one way or the other .
  5. My daughter won't eat red or white meat . Strangely she eats eggs and fish so gets her protein from them plus the high protein you get from soya .
  6. If they've come from a beach then it'll probably be the embedded sand grains doing the blunting as much as the wood. This is true .
  7. Kinell ! Would never have got that !?
  8. Clocking in machinates have been in operation successfully in factories since , since err " The Peeky Blinders " ! ...
  9. Is there any situation whereby gravity does not play a part ? That Issac Newton has a lot to answer for !
  10. Some are so knarely they just blunt chains on the spot .
  11. I still recon you would be better just blowing them up and raking into bags , compost , or bonfire or whatever .
  12. The wood they make the pilings that form the groins ( break waters ) on the beaches . Can't remember what it is though . Possibly " Green Heart " ?
  13. I think the only use for it is as a tree . ?
  14. Yes its a 3 pronged blade fitted on the shaft on the opposite side to the starter cover . Spring loaded orange vented cover I seem to remember . Does not look any different to the blower only version until you fit the down succey up tube and the collection bag . I did not recon it really . Get a Billie Goat .
  15. Had a BG86 back in the day with the mulcher blade fitted to the impeller ( similar to what you suggest ) . Too Fiddely and a bit of a faf for not much result . . You have either got to get the purpose built kit or not do it . Thats what I think .
  16. To be honest , never tried one but a few on here have . You get what you pay for . Tales of starter mechanism collapsing , chain brake falling apart . The Chinese get asked to make a saw down to a price , say £60 , and they oblige . Ask them to make one for £ 600 I'm sure they could .
  17. The only one that makes any sense for me is a " Billie Goat " vac or similar . £ 200 ish might get you a dodgy , knackered , for parts only one . Can't you just use your blower and blow them up into a heap ?
  18. That is one of the Chinese Zomax saws mass produced for 22pence each and rebadged for the various outlets that sell them B&Q etc etc....
  19. Yep they are . just looked it up . They can burrow through concrete apparently .
  20. My money is on a Brontosaurus . Typical of them . ?
  21. Just get a McCulloch 10 10 with the " go kart " engine . Don't come with more grunt than that ! ?
