So , an update . Got a text from a bloke from O/R saying we can come and do the external work on such and such a date . If this is ok can you please let me know ( inserted email address ) and quote this code .The email address just bounces back , tried it a dozen times and you can't reply to the text . Fcuking bonkers innit .

Yep I have burnt it and its fine . just have to use a bit more of it for a given output . It is as you say like blotting paper once seasoned so must be kept dry . Dave , a bloke on here ( don't see him much now , " skyhuck " ) said he once boiled his central heating with poplar . -

After receiving the email from Open Reach saying they have now received the signed permission to work form which I have sent 8 or more times they then sent me a text , "a gentle reminder " , to complete the form . A bunch of fcuking clowns ! .

I'm not switching providers , never said I was , . ( sky is my provider and sky pay Open Reach to use their cable ) I'm going from the old copper to superfast fiber right into my property . They need the permission to work form to be able to dig up the front of my house and to put a box of some kind on the outside wall of my house .

So the social media power house that is me ( apparently ) Phoned Sky customer services and told them , once again , the problem I was having with Open Screech . . The Sky bloke asked for the email address that the requests kept coming from . Told him . He said hang on a mo .....After a mo he came back on the line and said its all sorted . Next thing you know I get an email from Open Sneeze saying we have your signed permission to work form . Sorry for any inconvenience . Hopefully a result .

I have emailed it back 5 times . I have now asked for an address to post it to them . Maybe I will get it chiseled on a lump of granite and drop it on them .
