    Aspen 40:1 mix

You say " not much has changed " but it has . The oil is what has changed . Red Line specify mixes up to 100:1 . They would not if they thought there was a risk . Any way it really does not matter . You and I and everyone else will continue to do what we are happy with and thats all that matters . ?

    Aspen 40:1 mix

I would dispute it as well . My guess , and it is only a guess ( not a guarantee ? ) would be that if you did conduct the experiment neither would go pop but the 40 : 1 saw would gradually lose power as its plug slowly fouled up .
  3. But he says it octagonal , seen a pic .
  4. I think it was Midland Springs but any of the spring suppliers on the net will do them . They are a half length leaf with a greasable roller .
  5. I find Hawthorn as a blue flame .

  8. I think Mark that the inset stoves don't punt out as much heat as a free standing stove , not initially anyway but of course this has a absolutely no bearing on you sitting around in yer skidders bud . ?

    Aspen 40:1 mix

    I have run saws on 25:1 ( including a 250cc Ariel arrow ) when it recommended it . , 40 : 1 when recommended and 50 : 1 today Its never been a problem .
  11. Fuel solenoid . Replace it to eliminate it . .

    Aspen 40:1 mix

Most of the " small engine " problems in the U.S. is down to the high content of ethanol in pump fuel .

    Aspen 40:1 mix

Red line says , on the bottle , can be used at 100 : 1 ratio so I am happy at 50 : 1 . Never had a problem and my mind is peaceful ?

    Aspen 40:1 mix

Been mixing Aspen 4 with Red Line at 50:1 for years ( well since Aspen came out ) Don't see why you could not mix at whatever ratio you want but can't see the need to go below 50:1 .
  17. Forget 10kg bags ( tooo expensive and dubiouse quality ) . Build your self a proper log store ( rain off but plenty of air flow ) and get the local log merchant to deliver .
  18. What about " helper " leaf springs ? I fitted them to my last truck . They only come into play when the load goes up .

    Overloaded

There is an overloaded sign just to the left if you look Khriss . Seems to show a toppling load ?
  20. On my Burley I can shut it down so that the flames are sorta dancing above the logs seemingly not touching them . I think this is burning the gas from the wood .

  22. Oh , absolutely ?
  23. Great story ?
  24. I noticed the phrase a new version recorded by MacColl, she's unfortunately been dead 20 years. She had a stunt double ?
  25. Or the bleep in the Elvis Costello song , did he sing about the black lab in dam busters ? ?
