  10. Hi Steve . You may still get it yet . It was from the Walker saw shop ( over the pond ) Its how it came to me yonks ago . It has the MM but not sure what has been done inside , if anything bud !
  11. Khriss is right , but not yet . What you have done in propping it is fine . I have seen fruit trees like yours , in decline , with daffodils growing out of the cavities and rotten wood still producing good amounts of fruit . If you don't care what it looks like let it live out its days still giving you fruit , and when its no longer able to then get rid and replant . As an aside I love these old fruit tress that proudly display their long service medal . ☺️ ?
  12. Mine has 2 X vertical outlets either side at the top ( with modified top cover ) and the original . It was from the Walker saw shop .

  16. Just bypass all this nonsense and see if anybody has got any free money they don't want .
  17. Sounds like fuel starvation to me . Does the " oil " warning come on automatically when the ignition is turned ? ( coz its not yet running there is no pressure ) so when the revs drop and it stops it will show that warning . I would be looking at fuel filters first . Also there must be some kind of tank vent . Check its not blocked and pulling a vacuum .
  18. I was keeper on a small ( social syndicate ) shoot . 6 days a season + a beaters day . We thought we were doing well if we shot 500 all season !
  19. I get Gold finches a plenty . Some Chaffindhes and the occasional Bull finch . Green finches are rare on my feeders but they are not far away in the woods . There are lots and lots of Yellow hammers 20 yards away in the field but they wont come onto the feeders .
  20. You can by the standing timber when it comes up for sale .
  21. What about pointed sticks ?
