Can't help with tip site , maybe eggs can ? husqvarne 357 can run on 50:1 mix provided you use good quality synth oil .
  11. Just think of all the fuel you are saving ?
  12. If it has a floating rim it would run ok . If its a spur maybe not . Just a little tip . When replying to someone you are having a chat with its a good idea to click the quote tab when you reply ( as I have been doing ) that way the person gets a notification . I dont know when you are replying to me unless I go on that thread and scroll down .
  13. Hi . Add your self to the tip site directory .
  14. I am not familiar with this saw but it sounds to me that possibly something is holding the side cover off a little not allowing it to clamp down fully ?
  15. Oh . ok . Wonder if everything is assembled correctly ?
  16. Make sure the bar is pushed up when you tension it . I do this by holding the saw by the back handle and dropping the bar tip onto a log so that the weight is tending to push the bar up as far as it will go . Check and adjust your tension with it like this . Do the nuts up as tight as you can like this ( enough that the bar wont drop again . ) and then do your final tighten .
  17. Is it actually a faster chain speed though ? or does it just get up to full chat a bit quicker .
  18. I think the old saying that a Stihl has more mid range grunt and a Husqvarna more out right top end is being eroded away with the modern offerings . as you say each manufacturer has filled in the bits that weren't so good and now they are very similar .
  19. I know its not the question but , as you have used 372s before did you not consider trying a 572 ?
  20. Sorry , can't help . Did not realize that its a small " top handle " till I looked it up .
  21. Welcome bud . Hope all goes as planed !
