  1. Was there a Ninja on the other end of that ?
  2. Sorry , were you telling me to " go fcuk " myself ?
  3. They may even last longer as they run more efficiently , cleaner , faster burning etc . I always was of the mindset to use the smallest , lightest saw I could get away with . I do though have 50,60 70 ,90 ,95 cc saws and they are all ported .
  4. Don't think it affects longevity . My 346 was only the second one spud did ( the first being his own if I remember correctly ) It still going strong . I know I am retired from cutting now but it did shed loads of work prior .
  5. Its not just the fields near the roads Rubin . From Lavant village all the way up to the top of St Roches hill is OSR .
  6. But nor is trespassing ?
  7. Can I pop your farming hat on for a second ? Round here , on the chalk , its usually barley . Crops are rotated of course but predominantly barley . Thing is there seems to be an abundance of oil seed rape everywhere this year . Is the price per ton expected to shoot up come harvest ?
  8. Well there is as guy that used to be on here that tweeked my 560xp who is in Wales . His user name was Petemate something but have not seen him in a while . Spud has retired now so your best bet is to message Crockey . He does a Stella job . He ported my 395 and its a missile ! He is well booked up though ...
  9. And a Spud ported one on a 15" bar driven by as 8 pin is even better .
  10. Wow ! that cracked on after a shit launch .
  11. Put some volts into the stock fence and barbed wire .
  12. Good morning geezers .🙂 5c and no rain so far !
  13. Morning Bob , morning all . Hope you all have a good day .
  14. That is/will be a corker of a saw if he works his magic on it . I have one ported by him 👍
  15. Morning all . 5c and torrential rain in intervals .
  16. I would have , and have burned Leylandii in the past and think it is really good fire wood . The secret I think is not to season it for more than a year . ( down here in the south anyway ) Once it becomes " feather light " you have lost the spunk out of it and it will burn the way you describe . One summer and its good stuff .
  17. All the horses we have owned have had a " passport " .
  18. I think that back in the day the difference was that Stihl were slower revving saws but produced more torque so you could " lean " on them more and Husqvarnas were more revvy and fast . Today however I think that they have both been moving more toward each other becoming similar in their characteristics .
  19. Reminds me of that program that used to be BBC radio called The Navy Lark .....Left hand down a bit ...
  20. Morning Pete , morning all . We got 8c at the moment and no rain ...yet .
