  6. Some times they deliberately plant a crop ( stubble turnip for instance ) and graze it off with sheep before replanting a spring crop .
  7. Every time you refill wipe the area around the filler before you open it .
  8. Plouging back in is a recognized way of putting nutrients back in the soil but at the same time going against the current trend of not ploughing , rather direct drilling so as not to release carbon back into the atmosphere .

  10. Yes . It comes with a small " top handled " shovel . Wood burns best on a bed of ash so best to leave some in the bottom , usually glowing embers anyway .

  14. Hi Log . Mine is a Hollywell wood only . I think there is a multi fuel version but if its wood only it will have no grate . Just a solid vermiculite lined floor .
  15. My steel Burley spins the fans in that sorta time also . Think it 89% efficiency with 20% or less MC wood .

  18. @KhrissI tend to feel that incinerating is better than land fill but what is incinerating doing to the atmosphere ? , if anything ?
  19. I thought engine braking was when you close the throttle and the road wheels are now turning the engine rather than the engine turning the road wheels . Going down hill for example . The higher compression engine you have the more the braking effect will be . Try going down hill off the gas in say 3rd and then try the same in neutral .
