  1. I pretty much agree mate . I kinda prefer British summertime and wish it would stay as such . Its only a number though . Like colored wiring you could have all the wires the same color . As long as they are connected correctly it would all work .
  2. 1--0 win for Pompy . = 3 much needed points . Scrappy game for the most part .
  3. Happy Saturday all . 2c , frost , wall to wall blue sky . Off to Fratten for the match .
  4. I never climbed for coin . My mate was the climber . I have been up on occasion ( Willans T 22 , and 3 core , peeps will know what that is if they are old enough ) But mostly groundy / forestry stuff .
  5. The thing is Mark I was playing squash 3 times a week , judo at the local club , cricket in the summer evenings , clay shooting , going beating in the winter etc etc at the age of 50 . ( i thought of myself as a 30 year old 50 ) Then that myopic woman knocked me off my Fire Bade and my life changed completely . My age caught up with me and my Peter Pan stuff dissolved . Yes I was bitter and if that did not happen I would be still competing at a lever slightly above my age coz I was a fit fcuker . But hey ho . Sorry mate . Don't know what just came over me . I am a silly old sod .
  6. Log with the smooth bark I think is beech . The others could be as well as sometimes beech has fissured bark as well .

  10. 72 and counting . Been fully retired from any kind of employment for 4 weeks now and getting the hang of it ! Been retired from cutting for 10 years . Was working as a driver porter 3 days a week in a private hospital . Enough is enough . Plenty to do at home , still cutting and splitting for our own use . Body is full of metal so cant do gym stuff any more . Walk miles though ( have a spaniel ) Ho hum .
  11. Just out of interest , what ever happened to the Rivion electric pickup ? Did it die a death ?
  12. Morning troops . Thick fog , 6c . Hopefully will burn off .
  13. Or a Besom ?
  14. Pimps and Faggots ?
  15. What ! No " all " ?
  16. And a packet of crisps
  17. Recently bought a Daystate Red Wolf electronic pre charged . A work of art . Any way last night it fell off the bench rest ( I was talking to someone with my back to it ) . The impact broke the handle of the cocking lever and this saved the scope and everything else from damage . It still worked absolutely fine ( you can still operate the the cocking lever just no downward handle ) . The zero was still cock on at 25yds . Testament to build quality I would say .
  18. Morning all . Coolish at 7c patchy cloud .
  19. Firsty Ferret for an amber ale or Golden Champion for a golden ale . Love em .
  20. Russia and Ukraine agree to a ceasefire in the Black Sea . Apparently .

What ever you do , if you fix it make sure you determine the reason for the seizure ( air leak , bad fuel mix etc etc ) because if you don't sort that it will quickly happen again .
  23. Cold fog here too . Currently 4c .
  24. I godda say maybe its because I live in the " temperate " south but I have always used DM Chainsaws own oil ( don't know who makes it for them ) and never had an issue winter , summer , bank holidays or what ever . Its a non subject as far as I can say .
  25. Tartan canopy on pink/white polka dot truck . 🙂
