Just dropped my lad off at the yard in Petersfield as his car is in for MOT today . He is cutting on the railway and they have an ecologist going in front of them so every half hour they have to stop so he can check for door mice bats and snakes and all that . He says it makes for an easy day !

Someone has braced it because of the included bark in the union . The tree will grow it into itself . I have seen a whole bicycle included in a tree before .

They coppice well as has been said but, if the root plate is not out of the ground and you like them just leave them . See what happens . There is a Larch near me that the root plate has lifted a tad and the tree is leaning at about 12 to 15 degrees I would have said . Its been like that for as long as I can remember and is perfectly healthy . About 30ft tall .

Clear felling large areas round here to try and prevent it getting a hold . I know it prefers dead or dying but once established can infect healthy stock . Anything happening near you ?

Cabinets . How many . I have standard 6 gun cabinet but also have smaller cabinet for center fire amo and another small cabinet containing the bolts from 2 rifles . All these 3 cabinets are in different locations . What does your local FAO require to make him happy ?

Morning all . Had to get up at 2am to prop next doors side gate open with a log . It was continually banging . Keep most of my family awake . Wind is still strong and currently 7c .Clear as a bell though .

Born 20/01/1953 . Paper round , sweeping up in village shop . Engineering apprenticeship ( tool maker/dev engineer ) Game keeper on local shoot ( social syndicate ) tree surgery/ forestry and associated stuff . Part time driver/porter in Nuffield hospital Chichester . Currently Nothing in particular 🙂 . Front door color is stained hard wood of some kind . I get out more as lots of dog walking ( spaniel ) Drive wife to work as I can , saves her a walk from the multi story in Chi . Go to Pomply matches with my son . Go to Harleqins matches with my wife . Watch my daughter in any shows she is in . House work , DIY jobs around the house . Sunday and Teuseday rifle range but not always . Drink some beer , go to sleep a bit .
