I am completely opposite in the advice department than everyone else . I would say get the best pro saw you can afford because eventually you will want to . etc etc etc

I know of a bloke ( tree surgeon actually but I don't know him well ) who built his house inside a barn . Lived in it for several years ( maybe 10 ? ) and eventually pulled the barn down and shazam ! ....

Me and my girl friend / first wife saved up our deposit our selves . The house , in 1977 cost 17K . They are 300K or there abouts now . We got devorced after I think 11 years and I bought her out . I had to get a 30K mortgage and interest rates were 17.5% if I remember correctly . I was on my own , one income and living off the barrels of a gun .

I think there is a distinct difference between tree surgery and forestry . Job and knock works in tree surgery . Not so in forestry ( unless you are a bonkers 100mph merchant .)
