Second picture down ( with finger and thumb) looks like dry resin on the cut face indicating some conifer type ./ Other logs in the background could be syc ? A mixture but probably still green .

One thing I was disappointed in was the bit were the " game keeper " says we have only got your fathers old hunting rifle, and pull;sd out a fairly modern O/U double barreled 12 gauge shot gun . ????

One came with my stove (Burley ) and used it a few times but don't bother now as I godda burn what I have damp or dry !

Superb fire wood as long as you burn it on a stove . ( spits and pops ) Burns really well and very hot . Got some at 8% moisture . love it .

Probably stolen . Damage is to make it look more used than when it was stolen s/# ground off for obvious reason. Seen it done on bike frames . The imprint , if stamped in ally goes deeper than what you can see on the surface . With the right equipment it still can be read .

Only the air filter but you must have done that . If they ere not oem piston and rings ( Cheap Chinese) then that could be your problem ?

Went out to the log store last night (Sat 8th) and frost on its roof . Came down this morning and it gone mild as a mild thing . Grey over cast . Don't like it .

No experience of "clearview " but do have a "Burley" and would recommend that . Mine is rated at 98% efficiency .Worth looking at .
