  1. Well the wind is dying down, few squally showers but nothing serious and the forecast is still good. Long term forecast for Tenbury Wells Castle Tump, England (United Kingdom) ? yr.no So, am I expecting campers? I've arranged a baby sitter for Friday night so that I can take you to the pub if you arrive in time!
  2. Can't help feeling that's an impossible task. I've had 3 different tethers in my system already....! I think that in the same way we supply the hitch cord, the tether can't form part of the wrench package either and needs to come from the user....
  3. I love this stuff. I often think of writing a blog. What tends to happen is before I can be arsed to do so my rage bubbles over on Facebook and then my mother phones me up to tell me i've upset my sister.
  4. Weird! No! I hate things between my toes, can't wear flip flops for that reason....
  5. Am I right in saying it's basically rutting and John Hannah.....? Not seen any of it but I've heard it's the raciest thing on TV since Channel 5 came over all 'grown up'.....
  6. Till we get bored, tired, hot, cold or thirsty I guess..... play it by ear, I can't be too late, the wife will string me up! I like decent walking boots with a stiff sole which won't squash my foot when i stand into a tight fork....
  7. Ya, you can go Arran is coming up from Essex on Friday night, you may be able to hook up, failing that I think Tom is coming up from Kent or Essex - somewhere in the sarf east anyway - on Saturday morning. Alternatively I can pick you up from a train station.....
  8. You vill be unable to leaf until ze kommandant dismisses you.... Who are they playing? We had a couple of season tickets a few years ago and a box in the south stand for a couple of games, we did the pfs centre at the back in the council depot. They were having a particularly dreadful season that year!
  9. I did mine through Achieve Ability Plus. ( Achieve Ability Plus — Environmental and Land Based Vocational Training courses ) Speak to Lorna and tell her I put you in touch, she might even be able to help with some funding. If and when I can afford it I'd still like to do 38/39 through them as well.
  10. Right then lads, final call now for brekky, just so I can confirm to the pub so they can lay on the staff... This is the list as I have it. If I've got anyone wrong let me know, otherwise I'll see you all Saturday, 8.30 am sharp at the pub! Breakfast Arran (Arran Turner) Joe, (JNewton) Jack (jackmayo) Jake (jbowdige) Barry Jack (caveman27) Wayne (5 shires) Ed (Cov Climber) Paul (Silky Fox) Charlie (charlie) Joe Rich Abbiss Vince (Sawbee) Tom (TommyTentage) Roy, (roycurwen1) [but not climbing 'cos you damaged yourself You can be the tea & biscuit bitch:001_tongue:] Late Arrivals Neil (Nelly Belly) Tom (Tommy_B) Plippy? [coming with Tom?] The following names, I'm not expecting any of you, so if things change and you do intend to pop in let me know...! Out Allister, (chunkymunky) James (TreeWalkerDJ) Brian (Rebel_Commando) Joe (Joe Loggs) Max (Maxwell) Rupe Chris (ChrisG) Weather is looking promising, hopefully no wind, I don't like wind, and dry underfoot. Happy campers [just Paul & Arran I think?] we need to liaise in advance of Friday so I can be prepared for you Just need a guestimate of what time you're arriving really..... Think we're about there. Only thing we haven't discussed is what we're going to do for lunch..... Hotdogs? Can easily get a pan going over a fire....
  11. Looks lovely Dan! Really great work!
  12. The programme title is very descriptive. It's basically a series of hour long 'fly on s***' documentaries following 'gypsy way of life', mostly ramming down the throats of viewers tragic enough to watch it how extravagant one's life can be if your income is principally in cash, you keep your accounts in a very tax efficient manner and the law is not able to touch you. Audi RS5 anyone? I should write synopses for Sky!
  13. I think anyone who reads too much into things which are posted on a forum needs to chill out a bit! Debate and sharing opinion is good, it's how we learn..... So with that in mind..... I hope you learned something!
  14. It happens. Mate bought a Freelander last week, pre-reg, 3k on the clock. Day after it went back, back windows not working. They kept it, ecu fault. Had it back a couple of days later, out in it, overheated and broke down. Main dealer said they'd swap it. He phoned me yesterday to say they were offering him a top of the range sd4 one with 20k and an extra warranty. I told him to take it. He phoned me this afternoon. Broken down again. Don't have the one which had managed 20k but took another like the first one, a td4 s, and it broke down in Hereford, same problem. Suggested he go back and get the one which obviously works. Or stop driving because he's obviously too hard on cars!
  15. oh but we all love talking about logs
  16. Absolutely right. Even after all these years they still seem incapable of following the most basic arithmetic, that income needs to exceed expenditure if they're ever going to balance the books.....
  17. Yes, but can you imagine what they'd charge for it!
  18. And when I finally got round to buying a house in 2005 I was allowed 4 times (although it may even have been 6?) But that was for the same reason that in 1994 my parents bought the farm for £280k, but 10 years later, and after 7 years of 'the prudent chancellor' I couldn't buy half what they did even for twice as much.....
  19. Ludicrous levels of personal debt were a labour phenomenon, and not in the watered down Tory way, but in the good old fashioned socialist way of entitlement. When all is said and done though, you can blame Thatcher and the Tories, or labour or your mother, as much as you like, but we chose that path as individuals. If we stretch our personal finances we do so of our own free will, not because anyone tells us to or 'because we think we're upper class' (for what it's worth, generally the upper classes don't have a pot to piss in, never mind a new car!) Placing responsibility onto the state for our own mistakes is ridiculous and a typically left wing attitude, it was this attitude that saw so many sitting on their hands waiting to be saved. No be can live your life for you.....
  20. Rayburn not been lit for a week. Hard as nails we are!
  21. I can't believe you're surprised....!
  22. By 'uneducated masses' do you mean 'working class'.....? Because if you do that's 1, quite harsh, and 2, quite contradictory....
  23. complete with full Adidas PPE....
  24. I doubt we'd be so advanced!
