  1. lifted a syccy last week in Macclesfield and has frozen sap icicles on it this week

  7. Are you running 15" or 16" wheels? Think mine are 205/75/16 on the vans and we pay between £55-£60 each.Hope this helps:thumbup:
  8. As the tyres are taller (increased rolling radius) they throw the abs on as the standard front tyres will be rotating faster to match the taller rear ones. The computer on the abs thinks you are skidding basically. Also you cant turn on snow /ice with standard tyres when those knobbilys are pushing you round!

  10. Ive got a set. with the red tops and full laces the eyelet came off in the 1st month but had them 18months in daily use....not too bad for a budget boot

  12. new bars today SHINEY NEW THINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3x 15" Oregon pro-lite bars arrived today for 346xp 55 450 x torq oh and new 24" husq chain for 395xp

Research and development mug........... sup coffee............think.....................weld...........sup coffee.........think.............weld cant wait for it to be finished, rams have a 14" stroke plenty length of log for our customers and should split a 20" diameter ring into 16 logs in one pass :thumbup1: will keep adding pics to thread as she develops!
  14. love the tyres, make a difference to traction too cant wait to get the lift kit finished on the chip truck, will look huge :biggrin:
  15. Tully, We pay between £55-£60 a piece fitted for them, leave them on all the time, normally let the rears get half worn then have 4x new on the rears and put the half worn ones on the front. We are doing 50-60,000miles a year and we get probs 15months from a set so they are quite economical too.
  16. Whilst bored over xmas, me and the landlord looked at ways to speed up log production. Having built a log splitter out of scrap and it being a success we thought we'd have a bash at a processor........ We researched size of rams etc etc and designs and this is our prototype so far, nearly completed just waiting for shear bars, pipework and a 130L/min pto pump will put it through its paces.

  19. hi viz jacket at a local tescos,tip it in a space near a flowerbed ,if anyone asks, tell them the landscape lads are coming later to mulch the beds! Not that ive ever done that!
  20. re pollard it but do it better than last time round,rebalance its shape and probably take it in more so the re-gen isnt going to block out as much light the minute it resprouts!
  21. Todays job, Dismantle willow,chip to site and ring up timber, No before shots as were in a rush to get the chipper off the field before it all thawed!!!!
  22. yea tranny 115ps very good for towing both chipper and compact tractor on 16ft ifor
