  1. No question what he is going to become !! brilliant
  2. Sounds ok but the 15 quid to dispose of it not appealing
  3. Sorry mate , i noticed the cambium device straight after the post and deleted immediately, great work
  4. Yes , the tipper. I originally went down to the dealers for the 10' one but it i felt it was too big. I feel I'm a slicker outfit with the 8' and get all the gear in the back of the landy albeit i need to outfit it a bit more but I'll get there
  5. Its the compactness of the 90 i love with the t85 trailer .
  6. You may be right chris , i have not owned a 40cc husky but own a 35cc one and have cut much, much bigger stuff than 15inch without doubt a bit slower though, i dont think he should rule out a 435 if he is not a serious professional, you pays your money as they say
  7. I do , too early days yet for a proper review but initial impression is good. Defender is for work though , wouldnt have it as a recreational /road vehicle.
  8. I definetely wouldnt say no. At 40cc its going to demolish anything in front of you no doubt about it. The only difference being the larger professional saws take a pounding day in day out which i dont think you said you are doing. A brand new 40cc husky struggling on a 15 inch tree ? no way.
  9. I'm in trouble
  10. Smithers i absolutely do not want to tread on your toes but you can pm me if you like with any details in stictest confidence.
  11. mind and give a review
  12. Surely local lads can do this , although its fair dues winning a days work 9 hours drive away . I'm not bitter honest
  13. Sounds canny advice to me .
  14. I'm a bit confused about what type of insurance you are after here. It sounds starting out as if you are after a sort of critical illness type of cover but ends by you wanting third party liability cover I'm quite surprised about them asking if you take your dog to work there again this may well be the norm now i dont know , but as you say how on earth would they prove your dog got injured at work ? As for liability cover unless you own a pit bull x tiger and let it run about loose would you bother with liability cover anyway ?
  15. Hi TD, PA1 & PA6A which i assume is the ones you have booked covers foundation pesticide and hand held applicators. Although you will probably only use a Knapsack sprayer i have always assumed that this would cover you for stem injection , hatchet , paintbrush, weedwiper etc as these after all are hand held applicators. Most companies you come across will be delighted to see these tickets anyway .
  16. Just wait till they get horses...
  17. Hmmm, I dont know about that !!
  18. Sorry Rob this a nutcase who hasn't a clue about horses , no offence taken by the way .
  19. My farrier has just polished his draw knife on a pedestal grinder/polisher, the result is just spectacular.. imagine what your axe would look like ?
  20. Could I through this forum give a mention to the brave men of Scott's 1912 Antartic Expedition who reached the south pole 100 years ago today but sadly lost their lives on the return journey. To the memory of Edgar ' Taff ' Evans , Lawrence 'Titus' Oates, Edward Wilson, Henry 'Birdie' Bowers and the leader Robert Falcon Scott.
  21. You could go the full hog and get it machine buffed / polished , it would look absolutely awesome.
  22. Yip , I'm a vulture aswell .
  23. Yeah, a good sense of humour
  24. Quite a novel wee video that. Enjoyed it
  25. lol .. Didn't mean it in the broke back mountain sort of way honest !! Purely in the highest of equestrian context.
