  1. I would reckon if its a powerfull brushcutter/strimmer , say a 35/40cc jobby a heavy grass blade ( sort of 3 prong steel head ) would make very light work of it because you dont need the machine on full revs constantly . This would get the grass down to a level which once dried would just need a light strim . If you use strimmer wire you will probably need to give the strimmer a thrashing all day long which obviously you dont really want to do . If its a warm day the machine could be glowing hot quite quickly . The killer wont be the height of the hedge but the width at the top , which could be a real issue if you dont have the right tools

  10. I'm not annoyed in the slightest . Yes i do use one and havent found it to twist at all , gate snap at the end very quick and easy to secure one handed . You are trying to make out its only muppets that use them by your tone ? and i dont believe for one thousand of a second i'm the only person in Britain that uses one but hey i'm no expert climber .
  11. He's one of my heroes for at least putting the record straight about Captain Scott although i admit he has got a touch of arrogance about him . Doesnt detract from the fact he is a British icon and should be a great night

  15. This stuff is phytophotosensetive and can react to uv rays/sunlight years after contact and leave PERMANENT scarring . I'm on anti hystamines for a couple of days . Cover up when brushcutting / strimming chaps .
