  1. Big old tree to bring down.... I like the beech nut inspector in the last pic
  2. Jesus - there's a lot of soft dogs out there...... Kitchen only - was in a cage (door open) but now at two it's on a bed with vet fleece on top. Never allowed upstairs, on sofas or chairs and never human food. We changed its name to 'TFD' as despite its training regime all sentences seem to start with That F****** Dog has......
  3. We use sage Line 50 - it's as simple or as complicated as you want it to be. It has features we don't use but my biggest whinge is a) them (them geordies ) continuously ringing up after a couple of years telling you you need to upgrade "or sorry we can't support it" or b) having to pay an annual support charge anyway - particularly if you have sage payroll which is a few hundred quid at least. Cheap it 'ain't but accountants seem to love it and it generates lots of paper
  4. We were going but now I've got to wait for the postman who's going to bring all my raffle prizes
  5. Take your time Steve - I don't want you missing out my tickets by mistake p.s. We've got a nice spangly Loadhandler LH220M and a Bedrake fizzing at the bunghole here waiting to be sent out. You lucky people...
  6. OK - glad your experience is a positive one and it's a help. What about blanking off the areas behind the arches with plywood boards set at an angle? - a simple triangular frame with a plywood face. Don't have to be fixed in but helpful for preventing the lock up. Sheeting the bed to reduce friction is a good idea and as you say can be done cheaply.
  7. Hi guys, We'll also donate a Loadhandler 'Bedrake' as a separate prize to the Loadhandler 2200M already in the mix. The Bedrake screws simply onto a broomhandle or painter's handle (buy your own!) and is used for raking out the grooves in your pickup's liner. We've found it doesn't fit all groove styles but it fits alot and a useful tool anyway. It's a smart and durable moulding Bedrake™ Loadhandler Universal Pickup Bedliner Rake. Clean your pickup truck load liner
  8. Just come across this post - you've just coined a new Loadhandler slogan - "Hey", "What?" - "Don't ruck up yer Dragsheet"
  9. Hi oaldoaktree - did you buy one or are you still deliberating? We're offering one in the Arbtalk Christmas Raffle Let me know though if I can help with any specific queries. Sales are increasing - seem to be growing 'organically' - and next year we will start advertising in more magazines. I'm surprised how 'expensive' magazine advertising is - one ad and you have to sell a lot of Loadhandlers to cover it We're working up until next Friday if anyone wants to get a late Christmas present for the wife Curtis
  10. Matt, In future, take money up front and give it to your relatives before starting a job. With your luck don't buy a lottery ticket
  11. Ringing 999 and saying there's a loaded gun on the pavement should have elicited a response from an Armed Response Vehicle as a 'flash' call. They're generally around the county unless previously tied up in an incident Unless it was SE London of course where it would be the norm..... Me? I've only found dogs, wallets and drunks
  12. Worthwhile point - what is a "good working pickup" these days. You're a brave man if you take £25ks worth of chrome and wallow onto a rutted woodland track, load it and drive it out. Better to keep the chrome on the driveway and buy a nail of a transit and a good tow rope
  13. I've got a colleague of mine in Kent with the same machine. He bought it for his own factory heating but was banned from using it by the local council because of 'air pollution'. He's tried distributing them locally but the cost of his labour, stout cartons and delivery means he virtually gives them away. Problem with briquettes is that the average householder can't handle a decent box? Is that so?
  14. I would have liked the prostitute to have had a larger part in this sketch
  15. Nice rhythm...., nice kindling........ Should carry a health warning for well endowed operators like me...
  16. Two trucks Logs always delivered in single cab Hilux (mine) Fishing gear, footy kit and all children (his) always in (smart) double cab L200 4Life (his) Although most of the deliveries I then do - the only decision for me is wife / or dog? And then off to the pub; "Has that dog been on this seat" - Don't think so dear
  17. Should do if I were you...and....if the response is as it should be then a new cradle should be yours Hakki Pilke 'ain't a back street brand here and they will want to know what's happened and why if it's a fault or even if can break 'by accident' Keep us posted; it's an interesting one
  18. Never seen them before but seem bloody cheap to me.... Esp inc vat? and painted etc Worth finding out OK - edit - initial enthusiasm, have now re-read eBay blurb. 1/8th plate 'ain't so chunky - must glow in the dark (or light) and can see why plasma cut, folded and welded makes it do-able. Still cheap for a stove if it works
  19. What has Maaselan Kone / or Large, the UK agents said? OK it's 5 yrs old but short of an 'accident' stressing the bracket to failure - they would want to know (and help you out?) I would have thought. After all, 5 yrs is nothing for a machine like this.... and it looks in good nick?
  20. Steve - is there a Christmas Raffle this year? If so don't forget we're offering a buckshee Loadhandler LH2200M for the cause Curtis
  21. Hello Aly, didn't want to leave the post hanging - has your brother finished cultivating yet - we'd be interested to see if he can design something for an IW - and cover his expenses of course We're selling quite briskly on the pickup front and getting quite an interest from the log boys as we've now linked it to our hycrack logsplitter webpage but we do need to sort some brackets / mounting for IWs etc. Any help or ideas appreciated. Curtis
  22. I must be going senile for getting your name wrong Steve - It'll get you a decent 'Loadhandler' keyring and a small discount off a new Dragsheet when you need one. Just remind us! The new LH 2200M ones we've brought in have additional straps that can be fixed from the bottom of the brackets to a tow bar or similar if the tailgate trying to raise is an issue. Did yours have these? Glad it's working for you though Curtis
  23. Hi Chris - has the dragsheet wound off unevenly - in pic 2 it looks well over to the lhs and a bit mean on the rhs? Shame to leave that much behind Curtis
  24. Thanks for the support guys logman mick twf, as has been said the hi-caps edge latches are ideally where you want the Loadhandler brackets although it's 'get roundable'. The same issue appears with the new isuzu rodeo pickup - the latches there have gone away from the central. But, to reassure you and to let you see the efficiency of the system, if you order one and it doesn't work for you or you don't like it for any other reason; pack it back up neatly and get it back to us and we'll give you your money back. Give it a go Curtis
