  1. I can't find my Blue Book. I have done all the searches on here. Am i right in thinking its 0.97m3 per metric tonne? Many Thanks
  2. I love that! That's brilliant! cheap solution.
  3. Aye, what they all said. 28-36k depending on options. Very good tool on the right site though.
  4. Charlie Horsford has one. Very useful in the right job. Very, very expensive.
  5. You know their good when on a Sunday, you can be bothered to fetch them from the garage. And take a set of pics!
  6. I'd be more concerned about the soil levels changing than the union as well. A reduction won't be great on a Sycamore.
  7. Dave, Ask on The Treehouse. Quite a few Aussie Arbs on there.

Great all round saw. Get it. You'll love it and polish it and stuff.
  9. You are over complicating matters. WorcsWuss has it spot on. Give its only really one tree, if you need to collect all the measurement data for BS5837, you could do it yourself fairly easily.
  10. Your hauling waste so you can forget Agri registering for a start. HGV is the way to go for sure.
  11. Autocom headsets are the way forwards. Stuff re-branded for Arb work is overpriced and poorly spec'd IMO.
  12. Right, I've visited site today. The material is being hand felled and can be cut to whatever lengths are required. 30% Larch 70% Scots Pine. All clean straight stems to a minimum of 10m many 15m + Bottom dimeters for the Larch is 4-450mm, 450-600mm for the Larch. Access good for self loading timber lorries, can cut some for 3m firewood lengths. Many Thanks.
  13. For all the enquirers. Thank you. I am going to site today to visit as the contractors have started. Will post more details on sizes etc. Many Thanks.
  14. Will be sold by the lorry load at roadside. Willing to sell for firewood money. PM for details and offers. Timber is near Malpas in Cheshire. Many Thanks.
  15. Not unless your going to be going ISO or wish to do H&S consultancy IMO.
  16. I havent read the whole thread because I haven't time: Write them a letter stating your case clearly. It sounds like you are okay. I got stopped at the roadside many years ago and they used me as a 'test case'. I had to prove it was ag and they did not know their arse from their elbow and threatened to confiscate the vehicle at roadside. I did have a letter from VOSA but that is long gone I'm afraid. Don't sweat over it. Concentrate on your new baby.
  17. The best thing you could do is use your money for a deposit and lease hire one. The amount of money it will cost you to run a Defender on a fixed income will be crippling. Best of luck.
  18. Where are you What's your name How old are you What experience do you have What's your background How far will you travel Etc. these are all the questions people will want to know. I suggest you write ambit of a bio if you want to put yourself out there. Best of luck.
  19. I shall be there... Booked as soon as the email hit my inbox. Nice bit of free CPD ;-)
  20. Great quality, stop using the tip of the saw though!
  21. As others have said, Ground Control, or Ground Control Tillhill are a firm carrying out facilities management. They are based in Biliricky in Essex and operate nationwide. They bought out of UPM Tillhill's grounds maintenance division last year and are expanding rapidly across the UK buying up SME's. They seem quite good to work for. Payment terms are 14 days if you work it our right. Like most things though, how well the working relationship you build with them works will depend on the local manager.
  22. It is a tool for informing management recommendations. Nothing more.
