  1. I normally sit work on another log, but those motocross bike stands look cool. Cable reel should be fine
  2. We are looking for a or some chainsaw carvers for our show on the 26th & 27th of July. We would welcome anyone that can come along and entertain some of the visitors and offer you a free stand for your services. Or if anyone fancies arranging a comp for a few carvers you are more than welcome. And I'll come up with a prize. __________________ The Arb and Forestry Event 2013 Join us there on 26-27 July 2013 – full details at The Arb and Forestry Event 26-27 July 2013 | F R Jones and Son » Check out our website here: | F R Jones and Son 020 8676 3010 For training Best Tree Surgery Training for Forestry, Climbing, Machinery, Felling & Chainsaw Courses | Kingswood Training Services Too far for me this year, good opportunity for someone more local:thumbup1:

  7. Ah yes, I have seen that image before, brilliant horse!
  8. LOL the wave the lady is sprawled on:laugh1: I don't know who did the horse. Heather Jansch is the most famous driftwood horse sculptor, is that who you mean?
  9. It's mine Dave:001_tongue: Made it about 5 yrs ago for a project on coastal erosion. Never expected it would incite this though:laugh1: I might go back and try surfing it.
  10. Thanks Chippy, not heard of them before. I'll take a look. I have a broken punch so will measure it and see.

  12. Cheers amfell, They look to be the newer Oregon type, which seem to have become the standard fit( pic 1) The type I need is the old style with a much thinner housing (pic 2) Next question is, do you think it's possible to fit a wider chuck so that I can use the wider newer punch??
  13. Good thinking mate, Spotted this on you tube, Here's a link to Bailey's site that has them Bailey's - Oregon Chain Breaker Punch
  14. Has anyone got some spare breaker points for the old red chain breakers? Apparently Oregon UK aren't supplying them anymore !
  15. Just a thought in case anyone did not realise, if you like a page as from your own page rather than your personal account then the like does not show up on the "likes" counter. Does this make sense?
  16. I've been considering this saw as a small detailer for a while. Last time I looked into it (about a year ago) you could get the 1/4 spur sprocket for them from any echo dealer. Just ask them to order one in. Haven't got the product number though sorry. I'm sure someone who carves with these will have more info for you. Cheers, Si
  17. home made cards, breakfast in bed, followed by bacon and poached egg toasties( I had to make them) hot cross buns for later and a ton of chocolate that the kids have started on already!
