  4. Seeing your pictures and knowing nothing about splicing i found this And thought it was really interesting, and didn't realise how much work went into it. Looks like im gunna have to find a local course lol Great effort bud

  6. The female end to ur waist belt bud. If uve put the tale end through the lil black plastic holder take the end of the strap out and its in there

  8. If its brand new, take it back. Ive had mine for a couple of months and just ran it on stihl synth and aspen 2 from the start with no problems so far. Cracking lil saw
  9. If its a simple glide over with the file £10, if its been battered and you need to use a machine and getting all teeth the same width etc £15
  10. I too have been looking at this dark sided saw, but whens stihl's battery saw coming out?
  11. When ever / if we come across ash with 'die back' we have to burn on site and cleanse saws etc
  12. Yes u can bud takes about 30-40mins to do all 3 edges. But have found the finishing cut to be rough compared to the blade being new

  15. I know very little about milling or wood work and learnt the hard way whilst ive been making some silky handles 👍
  16. I dont mean to sound picky, but id hate to see the work uve put into it wrecked by not placing some pieces of wood etc between that great looking piece and the vice holding it down to the work bench. Seeing your results does make me wanna try some milling 👍
  17. Hi there bud, if u use the search button and type in Easy Lift Harness there'll be loads of threads on this Though ive never used one in anger i have worn it with the pole saw at FRjones show early this year and it was surprising how it took all the weight 👍 Good luck
  18. One stop cutting it lol 2 use aspen 3 if ur not bottom of the ladder in ur team use the required resources to pass it down. As saidbefore work smarter not harder 👍
  19. Aspen run from the start, no problems what so ever, so far has done 20+ tanks a couple of sharpens still running the sAme a nice light saw for pruning, or to push it to takedowns lol

  21. Off topic for a min but whats this wood? For the life of me i cant remember yet i know it !!! Id disced it up about 2weeks ago and now theres all these fantastic colours
