  1. Had this split and heavy leaning poplar to do today, wasn't looking forward to it but all done and dusted now.
  2. Iv had this problem with 2 saws. Stihl have recommended swapping the rim sprocket with a spur sprocket and provided the parts.
  3. Took mine into dealer today, referred to stihl they said they would fit different sprocket to cure the problem
  4. Hw training are runnig those courses soon. Based in Dumfries but they run courses central scotland too
  5. Yeah I use the shoulder straps for that exact reason, I wouldn't feel right in the harness without it now. Sometimes cuts into your neck but I usually wear a polo so it's fine if the strap sits under the collar
  6. Mine does that and it's only about 6 months old? Surely can't have worn bearings etc yet?

I don't think there's any comparison relevant between different industries, someone with all the qualifications listed in the job advert plus years of experience plus people skills required are actually few and far between so can demand that sort of money. It's really not a job that you could be ready for after a months it would be a position for a seasoned campaigner

  17. Could be due to the layer of woodchip around the base you think?
  18. Iv been looking into moving up too, heard that MAN would be the best bet by far from a mechanics point of view anyway very reliable trucks apparently!
  19. Saw this today at the base of a mature Norway spruce. Small white mushrooms with a patch of light brown ones beside it?
  20. I use harkie smock it's the best waterproof iv had by a long way worth the money. Haven't tried the cut n climb tho it looks good too
