  1. loads of cool pics there, my fav would be the bottom right pic in the above post in usa thats a cracker!
  2. Good job on that iv downloaded them. theyr a handy reference! iv always found it hard to get my head around the different types! how did you get the info just internet search?
  3. just wondering if anyone could recommend any good informative books on tree fungus identification/types and treatments?
  4. where abouts is that? looks like the states somewhere?
  5. i have a tw 150 on tracks and have no complaints. its been an awesome little chipper so far. iv heard a lot about the bearings on them but iv had no problems so far. i have used the equivalent jensen A530 and it doesnt get stuck with wide forked branches as easily as the tw,it seems to have more power but for the price and the reliability in my experience the tw has been first class!
  6. i have a piece of walnut, seems sound not soft or rotten in the middle, with about an 80% dark stain in the grain. the piece is about 10 feet long, and 19cm diameter at the butt, and 15cm at the other. just wondered if anyone had any ideas on what its worth?? iv had guys round telling me its worth 100 quid but im sure its worth more!
  7. thanks for the replies, i think based on the majority i will prob stick with the tipper i do mostly domestic, roadside jobs. just occassionally need it for offroad or bad weather, but i guess theres not any one van or truck that covers all the angles-fuel economy, payload, license and taco issues, off roading. ideally you would have to have both to get the best of both worlds!
  8. no havent tried any other tyres on the back of it. would it make that big of a difference??
  9. Im currently using a ford transit 3.5t as a chip truck, its great in the dry but useless offroad or in snowy conditions. just wondered if anyone that has used both would be able to give advice if a Landy 130 tipper would be better? how do the payloads compare? i know the landy would be a lot more expensive but would save me having another 4x4 to pull the chipper around in bad weather. any help much appreciated!
