Im young aswell and some of the advice ive picked up is, eat well, sleep well and stretch alot, im naturaly a stiff person and stretching when i wake up and before I go to bed makes a big difference and before and after climbing. Need as many years out of my body as it can take :001_smile: Arran

  10. ive just got ill and its nocked me right out, its okey as im still at college , but how do you do it with such a physical job and set work schedules? I understand you man up but when climbing and chainsaw work it would just be to dangerous? Just wonder how you guys cope as in four months when i finish college not working means no money Arran

  14. This leads to a thread I was going to post, to have nptc qualified tree surgeon on your truck what does that mean? That you have cs 30 31 38 as a minimum? What are the guidelines for what you call yourself when including training companies names/ logos Does it mean that if someone has there cs30 they can have An nptc sticker? and does the same work for lantrA?   20. I wanted create a shorter rope for hedges and small trees, and I was going to use the marlow to do so because it is cheap, then buy a more expensive rope for my main climbing line If I prefer the marlow gecko after getting a new rope it'll be my loss Arran
  21. I have a 35M Marlow gecko climbing rope which is a cheap rope from what i gather. I but want to buy a nicer rope, I understand rope is a prefence thing but what are the real quality makes. And secondly do people have really short length rope roughly 10-15M for conifier hedge work, or is it not really the done thing? and if so does anyone on here cut and splice rope on here?
