Did a pollard on a young (about 25-20 year old) cherry in the middle of last summer and still have not seen ay buds growing or leaf. Is it still too early to see signs of this? Im guessing it is as hazel and other broadleaf trees ive coppiced this winter have not started growing yet. Is this cherry i topped going to grow?

one firm i know were charging around 4-500 per day spraying knotweed, think it was a hectare they covered, this sound about right? horrible work tho

Great thanks for the links guys. The second one is very clear that after 80 days the levels of grayanotoxins are undetectable Should mean I can chip and spread on site, makes life easier!

I am doing some cutting of rhody in conifer woodland. The client I am doing it for thinks that if we chip onto the woodland floor it will have a negative environmental effect as nasty things will leach out. Does anyone have experience with this?

Wire Rope Winch 800kg c/w Winch Rope | WRW800 | SafetyLiftinGear Firstly do you think this brand will be as safe to use as the Tirfor brand or winches? Also do you think the 800kg will be ok for most situations? It comes with a 8.3mm wire cable whereas the 1600kg winch comes with the 11mm wire rope?

I am pricing a job for rhody control. What is the going rate for cutting and spraying per hectare. The stuff is on a slope and is above 4m high. Pretty sure it is grant funded.

Where can you get them from on the internet? The last one I got from ebay was pretty crap and did not last what I would call very long.. about 50 odd hours use. Anyone know a good online retailer?

think its gota be per tree rate as this will determine how much chemical you are putting down which will relate to how much the job costs you and time it takes

thanks for pointing out the dead link! my site seems to be doing a lot better in the last week, instead of being at the top of the second page of google and never on the first it is for the last week at least been in the bottom half of the first page, not great but much better... strange!

think they only sell a 4 way wedge but has anyone used a 6 way? are they available anywhere or is it a home made job? cheers

Apologies if i am unclear. Mainly to lock it when it is parked up as extra security level. I can not find one that will fit over the hitch as the chasis frame of the trailer is in the way of the box fitting over the handle of the hitch.. Can you give an exact model number of the lock you use on your tw125? Thanks

I think i too have the same box type one with a large pin that goes through when the 2 half boxes are pressed together BUT due to the frame of the trailer you cannot get the two half boxes over the hitch... Anyone have any ideas??? cheers
