  5. Thanks for taking time to give me an amazingly detailed reply. If you was my local guy id definately take my saw to you! How do you think this air leak happened?
  6. thankyou for your replies guys. I have given it in to my local husqy repair man today so hopefully its nothing too major to fix. It sounds like an air like around the rubber boot thing area and maybe need a new clutch if its cutting out the engine every time. Maybe leaving old fuel in there for many months has corroded the rubber boot thing. Is that right?
  7. Hi, After having used my saw every day for about 5 months clear felling sitka last winter I have used my 357xp only maybe 3 odd days in the last 6 months. At the end of the last day it all of a sudden started over revving so the chain would not stop and if i went to put the brake on the engine would cut out. It has been doing this ever since. Now the fuel I have is the same fuel I have had mixed for 6 months, sitting in my combi can. I have sort of come to the conclusion that this could possibly be the cause and its somehow messed the saw up. Im not a great mechanic so not exactly sure. Has anyone had a similar experience or know definately if 6 month old petrol could have a bad effect and what to do?
  8. hi there, i live near cardigan and am available a couple of days each week at the moment. ive got the certs and experience if you need me! Matt
