  1. got the carbide burrs in post today. great advice they worked an absolute treat and now my 365 x torq has a whole lot more poke! Ive not fiddled with the tuning at all but it seems to be a hell of a lot more responsive and accelerates quickly and just screams Is 't dogs bollocks!

  7. What dremel and bit is the best for grinding the steel off? I just bought a cheap one for 15 quid off ebay and it is seriously slow. Maybe i have the wrong grinding stone? What do you guys use? cheers
  8. Mine was delivered last week so has literally cut 2 logs just to check it was working, bought it specifically in mind for this mod. Anyone done any mods to the exhaust as well to get a bit extra hp out?
  9. Brill, so you ca leave the carb side of the pot attached and the exhaust pretty much, makes life easier. cheers
  10. Yes! definitely the hardest to put back on top case! will invest in a dremel type device and grind that fin away!

  13. Just bought these new boots from FR jones, got super quick delivery as ususal. Am about to use them in work for the first time tomorrow and i want to start off on the right foot (no pun intended!) I have some chelsea dubbin leatherfood which I have used on previous boots and wondered if it was ok to use on the airstreams as well, bit confused as they have the suede uppers and wasnt sure if this is the right thing to help prolong life of the boot? What do other fellow airstream owners do to prolong the life of their boots. Cheers

  20. Hi, ive got a decent crankcase of a 357 that im hopefully going to build up with 2nd hand parts and a big bore kit nikasil coated off ebay. Fancy a bit of a project for the quieter summer months. Does anyone here have any second hand parts such as side cases, top case, carb or handle? id be willing to pay. Also, does anyone have any experience installing a big bore kit for the 357? much of an increase in power? I love the way my normal 357 cuts, but who would say no to a bit extra! Does having a big bore cylinder shorten the overall life of the saw you think? any tips would be much appreciated, cheers!

  22. Ideal processor size, pure ash around 40t, what sort of price should i be getting selling it roadside? pembrokeshire if location makes much difference. cheers all!
