The fact nobody's committed on this thread is a good thing! Because if there was negative reviews you'd soon hear them so I guess there aren't any. I've personally only heard good reviews hence the reason we've ordered a 230vtr.

I've been climbing on the mk2 for a year now without any issue, wouldn't fancy going bk to a hitch after the zigzag.

I sent meindl an email regarding the fault, but they just told me to contact the retailer I bought them from as they should be the one to sort it out. apparently they have a 2 year guarantee.

The sole on mine has began to separate! only 8 months old, not very happy with the build quality to be honest.

Wishing you a speedy full recovery Sean. I had a little rigging accident back in January which lead to a few broken ribs, you don't think of things like this happening to you but It doesn't take much for the tables to turn. Stay safe all.
