  21. With an influx of work needing to be done ASAP I had two teams out today. Silky ran one and me the other, I was down Darlington with Simon for a birch fell then to Washington for a conifer fell, we then went on to meet Silky who had cleared a fallen beech over a drive with Chris & Connor, they then went onto an ash reduction which were all executed to perfection! We met up at 1pm to chip the brash off the ash then on to pull an apple out the ground ready for a builder to start an extension in Darras Hall. Second last job was in Gosforth to reduce a holly and laural for a hunny. Last job was to plant a cherry but Connor had cleared out the van from all spades so no spady no planty... Connor will be punished tomorrow even though its his 18'th birthday! Silky said he will bring the rape tape and the chloroform whatever that means I also took delivery of a used pressure washer until my brand spankers one gets delivered in 4-6 weeks eeeee how exciting!
  22. Its got to be a tenner like, unless they are a good mate.
  23. The only answer is lots of vehicles with a purpose of their own, not very practical as everyone knows the cost of vehicles and running costs Our industry does not have a perfect vehicle as many of our tasks require us to be off road, we need to be maneuverable and carry vast amounts of weight (without being top heavy ).
  24. There are many many more mate... I started out in Arb to give me a living that would enable me to buy a house in the country where I could set up a boarding kennels and Bulldog breeding kennels as that was my passion and lifetime dream. After Grace (RIP) had her first litter I swore NEVER again and I carried on with Arb........and here I am
  25. Ha Ha, my daughter delivers logs from the log pile to the back door, max capacity 5 logs although a little hard to peddle with 5 in!
