  1. Aye I've wanted a mint pressure washer for years and now I've got one I wonder why I waited so long! Chris at Gustharts said we just missed you up there last week!
  2. Mondays were always my favourite day if the week but I think Fridays are bloody fantastic too...! Started the day with washing all kit, Had a look at an ancient woodland which we will be managing for the next 5 years, Priced 3 sycamore reductions and arranged a diving course for the lads Xmas doo, Went for lunch at our favourite place, Then up to my mate Pete's who is also a tree surgeon to assess a wind blown beech which I will be tackling with him on Sunday...   4. Connor is climbing everyday and loving everything, removed an old birds best from a chestnut, quizzed Connor on Latin names and Silky is just Silky...!!
  5. I've fallen into that trap before, Hilux is my pricing vehicle... Might even get it wrapped in RAL 2004 (Timberwolf Orange)

I have been torn between RR Sport or a fast car, GT-R just didn't do it for me and I've had two RR Sports, I can't afford the new one so it would have been like going back in time and that's no good for anyone, I have the Hilux for when the snow comes so the M3 is purely a toy which I will only drive at weekends and for the long journeys to my parents up in the highlands with my little girl. Jon I offered to drive the old Fox down to yours but he said 'I can't sleep in cars so ill be getting the train' silly old fuddy Duddy haha. I think he's rite though, we can get pished on the train
  7. I will be using the old V Power in the new motor but as far as the Bang Tidy goes she'll be sticking to good old cheep diesel as 15 mpg isn't bad enough...!! And that's average since I bought her... ;-)

  10. Had a dead poplar fell today followed by a whitebeam dismantle, I felled the pop with precision and Connor removed the back weight from the WB to enabled us to fell it, we were presented with home made soup and bread by the customer and filter coffee...!! All timber stayed on site which was a shame as I'm in desperate need of wood...!! Got home to a copy of the Journal newspaper where I am featured

  13. Had a very strange day today, it started off with a very small pruning job which lead to me riding a horse in full chainsaw gear up to 'The Bear's' farm where we spent the afternoon shooting. We went into Bear's house for a coffee and there was a horse in the kitchen...!! Yes a real bloody horse...!! And Bear just went about his coffee making duties as if it was an every day occurrence... Anyway we finished off this very strange day with loading a couple of dumpy bags of ash logs to be delivered up the Northumbrian coast to a place called Alnmouth and i think we'll call in for some Craster kippers for breaky...!! Cant wait If your lucky Silky will upload some pics from this very odd day...

  16. Great for carving as its nice n soft, a customer of mine makes the most fantastic rocking horses from tulip wood
  17. New printer came today and believe it of not instillation went swimmingly, I had visions of it being in bits on the floor before long ha Quite chuffed with my patients lately
  18. Ill be popping in for an order progress report, just tell Hom if its not ordered I will plaster the entire interweb with his nail varnish secret...

  20. I must also stress that Connor has only been climbing for 2 weeks...!! Good things now and great things to come...!!

  23. Connor you know when you signed the risk assessment this morning...? You actually signed a 40 year contract with me.....HA HA HA...!!!!!!
  24. Connor is climbing every day now as he shows no signs of fear (yet haha), I thought it was going to be ages before Connor would be making me money and he's only been with me a month and a half and he's doing his fair share and is making me money now. He has some beech's to this and tip back tomorrow so get a good nights sleep lad...!! Your doing great...!
