  12. Connor did his first dismantle today, a small apple tree... He used the 150 which is a great saw for him to learn with as a 200 or a 201 could have been to aggressive for his first tree. Hi did very well with great attention to his cuts. Lots of step cuts and his first gob in a tree...!!
  13. There's nothing stopping you but remember you will have that extra money going out even when work is slack, its taken me ten years to get to this position. Don't rush into it because you think it'll be a quick fix
  14. One ins a farmers son who works in the local petrol station, turns out he has an ND Arb!! Connor is an apprentice from Kirkley Hall If they are 17 you pay them £2.68 per hour and they go to college 1 day a week working towards their level 2 And you get a £1500 grant for taking them on. You can have up to ten...!!! With I'd not got rid of the back seats in the Iveco now!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr Live and learn

  17. For any hedge trimming jobs I can recommend Connor & Simon Not as cheap as the B&D... Not as light either... ...But far better than doing it yourself!
  18. I rang 'Greentyre' who were very helpful and after going through options of colours, costs etc they offered me a free fitting service with next day return delivery. Blooming marvellous!!

  21. This week has been one of the best weeks I've had in ten years of being in business, Connor and Simon are taking the reins which is allowing me and Silky to enjoy the mentoring side of things. They lads are coming in leaps and bounds, everyday they are shown a new task and they take to it like a duck to water, what an enjoyable feeling seeing young lads so so keen and listening to your every word. Massive amounts of stress has been lifted off me by having these two and I look forward to a VERY bright orange future!
