  1. "And Shepherds we shall be For thee, my Lord, for thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti."
  2. I used to just fill a 44gallon drum, does that count as a can?
  3. Great pics Gerrit, where are they?
  4. Very funny
  5. Have there been any reports of rioting scum using Aspen?
  6. The answer to all of this is compulsory Sikhism for the underclasses. I heard some beautifull quotes on the wireless today: "If they come into our Gundwara I will kill them" A nice example of a youth willing to fight for his community, for what he believes in. But the real beauty was a young man being asked if he was out yesterday evening to guard his neigbourhood if needed: "No, I was at home, I was not allowed to go out. -Why not?- I am a young man, I am 19 years old, but my parents said I should stay in, and at the end of the day you've got to do what your parents tell you to, innit"
  7. rumblings in Leicester and Nottingham as well, getting closer to me. I walked down to the village today and told the local youth that I'd be watching him, he's only 6 but he wears a hoody so I thought it best to have a little word. On a more serious note though, my heart goes out to those closely affected. It must be dire, to be so threatened in your own area, the authoroties not willing or able to get in control. I'm all in favour of inclusive politics, talking before trashing them etc, but shoot the first 5 of these cretins in the knees and see how many others are wiling to have a go.
  8. The blades are a one-piece construction (on my two-blade model) and just held on by the nut on the hub. Undo the nut, take the blades off, put your best baked beans can effort on and see what she does on the stove top. I appreciate the need for balance, and the blades were probably the result of quite a bit of research into sound production etc. But I reckon it's going to work a heck of a lot better thn putting it o a shelf behind your fire! Be bold, get the tin-snips!
  9. I'd just chop down the blades a little bit, they're only thin sheet ally. Alternatively you could make some blades yourself.
  10. you don't have to agree with anyone but when you don't, voice your opinions in a less offensive manner and we'll all get along. People often forget that what others read can be taken rather differently then if you'd said the same to their face. Just yesterday I called my boss a tosser to his face, and told two of my work colleagues to flock off. If I'd written that to them in an email, or posted the same on here, I'd not have a boss, or colleagues by now.
  11. you quoted a childish exclamation?
  12. Did you edit all of those post seperately, or do you have a big "swear-eraser button"?
  13. 11 on my screen:confused1:
  14. quite trivial I know, but: where?
  15. I'd not bother trying to flush it, just change the filter again after 2 or 3 tankfulls and you'll be sweet. If you're worried about the law, write the date of filter change on your filter with an indelible marker and you'll be fine.
  16. When will I get my book then.....
  17. Glad you're ok, sounds very lucky! Is the ornamental pear not supposed to be in full leaf though?
  18. I think he means one of these?
  19. I would not be so worried about the van itself, but make sure to never leave any tools in it, unless you have armoured windows?
  20. Maybe he read the Swedish candle thread and didn't quite get it....
  21. Where are you? How much?
  22. I'm Dutch, we're what I like to call "post-PC". Faggots are faggots, and the woods are a gay place at times. Thanks for the above advice, so I can be expecting to pay something between £0 and £900/ acre? I'd cut mainly to supply myself, so any extra income from by-products would be great, how much would you charge for faggots? If I'd cut an acre a year on 7 years rotation, would I be paying for 1 acre/year or 7? IOW is that stated price for the produce, or the rent of land?
  23. I'm certain you could get (or make) a quick-fit set of dual wheels in that size. They'd be dead easy to put on or take off if you can lift the front wheels off the ground. The machine does not get any stability from the rear end as far as I understand it, so if the front tips, you've overloaded it. Perhaps the impressive hydraulic and lift capacity make you feel it should be capable of more than it really is?
  24. I think the problem is the size of my hands rather than the gloves.
  25. Ted, are you saying people sentenced to death should not be allowed to appeal? Also I'm afraid your 60% of costs estimate is not based on actual figures or is it? I never said crime rates or even violent crime rates per capita were higher in the USA than they are in Norway though. As far as national budgets are concerned the USA does have one of the worst records internationally and owes more dept per capita than any other nation (and has done so for a long long time before we go into "this government sucks").
