I had a Husqvarna one like that, was a good tool until I bought a long reach and never used it, so converted it to long reach by fitting long shaft.

If you are in that deeper water no need for chainsaw wellies, unless using a saw with 3ft or 4ft bar.

My Tobroco giant did similar on starting once turned over and then nothing, it was a fuse but had broken up and looked OK. Maybe best to try fuses again by switching the ignition one.

Was looking for winch in a box to drag stump grinder on to truck after a couple of near misses. But made one for a lot less and stronger. Used it this morning to pull some dead pines back for road and BT cable with it anchored to Giant.

Just bought a Pulsar quantum xq50 off a mate how has upgraded, complete game changer when deer stalking on edge of woodland, the big problem is squirrels in most of woodland were we stalk, you can watch them though pulsar but you can't see them without. But they don't see though wood.

That's sad news as bought quite a few bits off them for chippers, mainly because they delivered next day or 2 not like other's a week. Maybe price of sweets have got to high for them. 😃

The tips will turn brown sometimes no matter how sharp cutter is, had it on a hedge a couple of years ago hedge cutter was brand new and razor sharp.

Morning, Had today's job cancelled last night as garden was under water, rang 6 other customer and all said garden to wet. So looks like a day of paper work.

The best way I have found to do roe and muntjac is lay on lightly oil foil season with black pepper, onion salt, and other herbs. Rap it up in the foil and cook on gas mark 5 for 30min for muntjac and 45min for roe. Let it cool and put in fridge and then cut it and put it in fresh bread rolls. But each to their own,

That's the answer. I quote for work years ago now and it was big job, re-pollarding willows, the nearest quote was £4000 dearer and the highest was £12000. And before anyone asks I made money on that job.

Knowing how a machine runs and works is key in this business, if it brakes down you need it fix for the next day or on that day to finish job. Only the other day switch packed up on eclectic supply to 6 way valve to work grab and rotator on little loader. So I pulled wires from work light on boom and wire 6 way valve to it and used light switch instead.
