  1. 2 wife's on a girly night out getting on it and very drunk by the end. They walked (staggered) home only for both to stop and have a wee in the local grave yard! Having nothing to wipe with one of the girls improvised and used her pants.. The other grabbing a wreath from a grave and using that!! The next morning one husband rang the other to say that his wife had come home with no pants and there where to be no more ladies nights out!! The other husband replied, " if you think that's bad, my wife came home with a card in her pants reading!! From all the guys at the fire station "we will never forget you""!!! 2. As boring as it may sound but we really don't have enough information or techniques on the subject of what I'd call a very important part of a climbers bag of tricks. So who uses them? What line and weights are you using? What style throw do you practice? Are there many big shot fans? How are you connecting the throw line and weight together? Are you accurate? And do you carry more than one? There's probably loads of other questions I haven't thought of, so a nice compilation on the art of throw bagging from climbers around the world should at least give an insight into the subject for beginners and pros alike I'll add all mine soon but feel free to add yours right below here Adam Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. Haaaa, Well just a thought Maisy asked if that was me in the video (she's nearly 4) I said nooooo that's uncle Reg she just looked and smiled Glad you well mate, what tether are you using with the wrench out of curiosity? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. Nice video Reg, easy to get lost in it looking at all that beautiful scenery, couple of funny commentary bits though. I see your still using the wrench and see you remove your line out the way to gaff down but just wondered if you use or thought about using a optimised length of retrievable top tie? Really doesn't take no longer than it took you to move your line out the way.. Anyway hope your well fella Adam Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  11. Na it's been ok, I just feel that people are starting to stray away from posting in fear of the Ten Commandments being brought down on them!! I know you can't please everyone and I know something's are worth pointing out!! But the music?? My last 2 videos the only poor comments where through the music because the music had been used in other most epic videos!! One of them was some geek on a push bike... A blinking push bike!! 3 words to that!! GET A JOB!! on the whole though I'm sorry for ranting like this Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. Why is it people find fault in everything!! If they cant find fault video it's the music, or they find fault in the video but then there's 20 replies asking what the banging tune was!! The editing was poor! Great edit but I wouldn't of done it like that! Did you see that bit at 1:34?? That's was soooooo dangerous!! Jeeeez! No wonder nobody wants to post there videos!!! FFS!! Sorry but but this really is an issue for video makers and something the forum suffers from badly in my opinion!! He does make some exceptional videos though, this has to be my favourite.. 17. Bang on mate and could not agree more or argue that in anyway, the general, the general aesthetics of a tree would never change anyway, or shouldn't on a complete spec reduction.. Adam
  18. Hi Paul, In my experience and unless the spec says to reduce the top more, then surely it just appears to be, if I'm asked to do an overall reduction of say 2m then the overall finished product should be 2m all round and no more from the top than the sides. But some specs I've often come across species dependent have a metre or so more from the top on the spec. ie 2m top, 1/1.5m sides?? I can only assume these reasons are for someone's personnel preference or something.. Again species dependent I also feel the sides offer more in substantial growth points and a little more is needed from the top to achieve an all round symmetrical finish!! Adam
