  1. What is the best wood for fence posts for fencing as i find softwood post are treable and do not last any time.due to the cost of fence post at the moment and the bad treaments. i am condering planting some sc coppice but i am not shore about what condition it likes and i can not find any thing on yeilds classes, cost of coppicing exctra and ther is next to nothering in the way of forestry here so it can be hard to get adivice. but if ther are any wood that are better can you sugest them as well. and what gentic stock is better i feel it would be viable to do this as it would easer and they would last longer. this would be much apreached NI Tree

  6. he has no problems getting stihl parts but he dose not have many and that can be the differance of finishing a job that day or haveing to wait a few days
  7. It is harsh and that is why i would say that a good dealer that is also good at fixing them is important as you would have less down time. as there is not much in the husky stihl argument as they are both good saws and robust yes you do what power wbut with backup
  8. highland forestry on here has one, their was an artical in the forestry journal this month about his operations.
  9. i would say that your dealer is very important we have a stihl dealer one mile away but and i would buy from or even give them a saw to them as they are very bad and do not have any parts in stock ever, so i am stuck with huskey and it will be that way it has been for years but i would buy a stihl but it is the back up so i am a husky man. i would say it is the dealer who you whant to deal with is what you go for.
  10. i would say husky as our nearest reliable dealer sell them. and husky are good saws
