  1. the wind woke me up last night and it was not help by a helicopter 2am fly very low must have been going to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary so hope all are ok.
  2. blades i would love to lean about Falconry as my grandfather useto do lots but he not around to teach me, you very luckly. the knives look very very nicely finished and very usable,
  3. i run 2 drinkers one in the house i take it out in the morning with fresh water that is warmed slightly to stop it freezing so quickly, i find it takes quite a while at times for it to freeze and fill the drinkers as full as possible as it takes longer for it to cool down, so they dont freeze as quickly, though it not that often i have had a problem with drinkers freezing during the day, this in Northern Ireland but i know turiff is alot colder than aberdeen as i was up there on sunday night, as i am over here at uni if this dose not work there are eletric ones you can get but they run off 240v but if this is not avalibible you could try to run it of a 12v battery and a inverter but they will probaly not work for the bucket in the picture.   7. some can not even replace the part, we had a front limited slid diff inners wear (cams and cam fallower) and due to being at uni i could not get assambled in time as other things came up, so sent it to the dealer it tock them 6 weeks to finding out what was worn (it would scream you in the face) new limited slip diff assembly need, and they could not turn the bike when we got it back lol and it failed 2 day later as we needed it and we still ot got it back and they first had it in Augest :thumbdown: they must not be able to use dial gauge engineers blue micrometer
  8. ha the potentiometer aka a veriable resistor have you concidered packing the plug with water proof grease to help reduce water ingress in to the electric plug i dont know i would run honda quads with water proof grease espicaly the brake drum seals
  9. andy what do you mean by the seander units and what is the bike i know whar you mean we have had a fare few 450FM and a 450ES and when i was looking at second hand 450 and noticed that the ES were far better in 1st gear (not jumpy) than the manual, and i put it do to the fact that the bike wount force the gears. but thats the only thing i like about the ES they good at stopping people that are hard on gear boxes
  10. if buying second hand get a ES as the gear change is not forced like a manual one
  11. guss how dose the 560 compaire with Grahams 550
  12. i know the fealing toro are good but they a pig to fix but that what they do to keep them with a low centre of gravity
  13. grass hopper iam in aberdeen at the minute but heading home in 2 weeks to the north so could help

  20. i just get hocks from clarkes at times and use old chain as i also use old chain for the jungle buster
  21. i would not concreate the up rights in if you are doing it again as the concreate reactices with chemicals in the wood and there for reduces the life of the post but dont worry we all make mistakes
