  1. Little brass drain bung underneath. Make sure there’s 100psi in it before unscrewing. See my recent post on this subject for further edification.
  2. You can get 2 in the mag but they spaff out everywhere. One in the mag feeds well. Using two and a halfs, mainly because it’s never occurred to look any further towards the back of the safe. Not looked at the proof marks. Even if I’ve got some three inchers, I won’t bother. It’s not a serious shooter.
  3. Intentionally forces branch agnostic. My brief googling suggested that the army and air force were supplied with them white to dye them their chosen colour (green or blue respectively). I don’t necessarily believe that but it aligns symbolically with my general disdain for state property ownership, the notion that it has never suffered the indignity of sovereign service. I was considering dying mine yellow with turmeric but it turned up painted rather than bleached canvas so not sure it’d take. Plus in white I can more easily see which log stack I’ve left it against.
  4. 410 conversion. Hoping for a pigeon over the log crates I’m fettling.
  5. Does your Brittany bike have a scabbard for baguettes or are you sufficiently assimilated to carry them in your sweaty armpit? I was riding a friend’s Tricross yesterday. Streetfighter’d with appallingly wide flat bars. A town weapon.
  6. They look fine from here. Not that I’d turn down the MEWP.
  7. Armour the shed and fence, main rigging on 3, driftline with the climber. Probably do 2 as a set piece. £500 surcharge for possession of astroturf outwith a field hockey context. Three men, one day, £3500.
  8. I nearly said that but then thought I’d been unhelpful enough already.
  9. Are the wheeled spider leg ones any lower? You’d probably be up against width instead then.
  10. I for one welcome men taking on office roles. Women are usually useless at them.
  11. Don't be the crab in the bucket from the other thread. I'm aware they're Audi drivers but hold yourself to higher standards.
  12. It’s not funny if I have to explain it.
  13. Excuse the irony that this was broadcast on state media and features Nicola Murray, Secretary of State for Social Affairs and Citizenship.

    ArbDogs? Pics!

And while I'm at it, you're from Boro. Why is that dog on a substantial lead. Affix a piece of string immediately.
  15. https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/countries-currently-at-war And I don’t for a second believe that there aren’t others that should qualify but haven’t for the sake of the optical lie that certain countries are above the uncivilised business of conflict.
  16. A bog standard vehicle winch is a better option for a vehicle but you can't also take that into a back garden to move stuff.
  17. Sorry. Didn’t read carefully enough. Not aware of 12v ones.
  18. The PCW battery winch works well. Only demoed at a show but still impressive. Treadlight Forestry will sell the Eder equivalent, assuming it exists, which I think it does.
  19. My accounting system is about a tenner of stationery and works beautifully. A4 week to view diary and four pens: Black - money in Red - money out Green - do something Blue - mileage Ring binder with 52 A4 plastic sleeves, one sleeve per week: A4 pieces of paper are invoices, evidence of money in Smaller pieces of paper are receipts etc, evidence of money out Both go in a satchel. The satchel is opened for every transaction; on the counter in the petrol station, on your lap in the van when your bank app goes bing. Saturday is invoice day; send one to client by e-mail/post, put a printed copy in the folder. Sunday you check the previous six days' paperwork. Monday is the start of a new week. At year end print 12 bank statements and deliver everything to accountant. Quickbooks can swivel. Paper is better.
  20. I’m firmly an A too. Problem is my accountant is a B.
