Hi Forgive my ignorance can anybody tell me what causes this in ash Its not a standard burr and some of the holes are quite deep While I was cleaning it a hornet came out,made me jump out of my skin ,I'm glad it was a bit drowsy.Put it in the wood pile to see if it survives winter This piece is only about 8 ins diameter but some of the others on the same tree are 18ins across many thanks slackbladder:confused1:

Hi i bought a fairly cheap website and great customers can get in touch ok.But I think it is worth paying the extra for a good website that can get you noticed on goole etc I get very few enquiries because only people who have my card know about it I'm considering paying for a better site,where they gaurantee me gatting noticed What do you all think slackbladder

Hi again just been experimenting with the resin with a black pigment added Works fine but you have to seal the wood( i use osmo ) otherwise the pigment leeches into the wood and stains it and its hard to remove it _____________________________________ he's not a messiah he's just a very naughty boy
