This is the sort of thig I am looking for Doesn't have to be burry,but anything with character ,Cankering etc No good for splitting for logs Great for me though

ps the other thing is turn the bowl in one go,don't leave it between turning processes

If you turn the bowl or whatever to a nice even thickness,then just hope for the best Ideally moisture content should be about 15%.But even the wettest wood can work out ok.The Ash burr was big and this is just a small piece so moisture content is around 30% The burr will shrink back but hopefully not crack,Matbe i'm just lucky
