  1. Who's selling 652's for £240 new?
  2. I'd just rock up with a bag of grass seed and an emergency fiver in my pocket.
  3. A million councils cannot be wrong.
  4. Ever the practical man eh 'plogs
  5. Ungrateful tossers.
  6. Kawasaki or Stihl would be my choice. I've heard good reports about the Echos also, but haven't tried one. Having just seen Shaveys post I'd be tempted to try out one of them, I'm assuming a Dolmar branded Makita lol...
  7. Lol. Let's hope they share that packet of Twiglets nicely.
  8. Oh don't get me wrong I like to make something rather than buy it as much as the next guy. I just can't get to £40 including the steel, cutting disks, weldong rods or MIG wire and gas, if the bulk of that is the wheels? Economics of scale often make 'build me self me own ' to be a futile excercise. Sad but true.
  9. Agreed. It's all gone a bit 'mumsnet', I'm out.
  10. That one you linked us to was only £1350 inc vat....wasn't it?
  11. I always do mate, I was actually acknowledging your acceptance with a smile, I think you misconstrued it as belligerence lol.
  12. Yep! nobody impressed, that's it. Have a good weekend too.
  13. Can you give a breakdown of material costs? I'm struggling to get to £40 on a rough estimate.
  14. Just buy the Billy Goat. Watch the videos on YouTube, they look unstoppable. 2" cutting capability, yes please!
  15. Sorry I upset you petal. I'll try to be more sensitive in future. Since its 'Take Everything to Heart Friday' I wouldn't recommend you go through with your plans for the weekend, you'll get arrested don't you know!
  16. Oh how I lolled. They probably couldn't understand your thick scottish accent.
  17. Apology accepted.
  18. Bertolini Scythe mower?
  19. Since we have so many good Samaritans on this site who want nothing more than a better life for these poor frightened souls from war torn lands... How many of you have written to the UK Immigration Service to offer out your spare bedrooms and offered work in your companies to these deserving families? That's right. None of you have. Just like I wouldnt.
  20. By the time the OP makes up his mind, the dealer will have sold the cheap Husqvarna to someone else and Shavey will have sold the Dolmar to me!
  21. Oh gawd, I darent ask that..but it did cross my mind that's what you were up to.
  22. Are you pissing in the tank? Lol
  23. It'll never get boring to make a teeny weeny tongue in cheek comment about the 'superiority' of Husqvarna saws and watch the frothy-mouthed 'defenders of the realm' scrabble forward to their keyboards in outraged defence of their shiny orange scalpels. It's all fun & games when the boot's on the other foot however. Funny that! Play nice kids! Lol.
  24. Let's see a picture of these girly wrist Joe me old mate
