  1. Sorry but I can't even remember the threads that it happened on. It did make me laugh though!
  2. Certainly not! Shoot him in the arse.
  3. I see the joke but the springs add weight an that won't help at all, when your sitting on a weigh bridge.
  4. Not wishing to derail or anything but I've got a hand held one. It's just like a giant cork screw and works perfectly well. I've hired the powered ones but won't ever again because this is faster due to the light weight of moving it round on site, picking it up, putting it down, picking it up……….. All augers get stuck on a root or stone so I don't see a petrol one being better for me. Money well spent. I know it depends on the type of work you do though.
  5. I've made that point before and got criticised. I have also made this point about Britain on the American 'The Treehouse' forum and I got slated there as well, by UK Arbs! Hahahaha! Just my opinion though.
  6. You wanna be finished by then otherwise the sun gets in your eyes! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  7. That's cool. Doesn't take long does it. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  8. Both. Especially the client. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  9. There's a thread on the Landscaping forum on just this subject. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  10. I bought a Quickload gas gun cos it's a sort of copy of the Pasload from a few years ago but much cheaper. Hasn't put a foot wrong. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  11. Fab! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  12. Brendonv on The Treehouse forum appears to have this attachment on his Boxxer. I can see the advantages………. The #1 Arborist Forum, Bar, and Grill - Enjoy the buffet and libations!
  13. So what's the scoop Paul? Does your son work for this guy full time and you're in as a freelancer when needed? Looked like a fun job?
  14. I'm pretty sure that Greenmech did one. I don't know if it's in production or if it was a one off. Maybe they build it to order.
  15. Cool. I put a Zip line kit together after I bought my Stein Dual bollard and it was money well spent. Just wish we had more opportunities to use it. Always fun though.
  16. Nice. I love jobs like that because with a well groomed team, it makes a really interesting day.
  17. Done. If this works I'll be using Aspen in all my tools, not just my occasionally used hedge cutters.
  18. That's right Jon, it was the same garden as that Monkey Puzzle. The client made me cut down this fantastic Redwood/Rowan. Such a shame but she was quite attractive!
  19. I'd choose a Husky because the Stihl M-tronic is the tech that Husky used before deciding it wasn't good enough then invented the Auto Tune. That's what my Stihl dealer told me anyway. Also, I've had some appalling customer service from Stihl UK with three warranty claims. However, if your local dealer is Stihl, buy a Stihl.
  20. Good idea for a thread John. Here's my contribution: An old Sequoiadendron stump, 12ft tall and a Rowan had seeded in the top and grown roots that cascade down the sides into the ground. Brilliantly adaptive. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  21. if you have a good local dealer and the product is good then the decision should be made surely.
  22. My experience is only with BA, and Virgin.
  23. Airlines won't allow it at all. Having said that, it's at the discretion of the Captian although airlines will deny this. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
