  1. Hi Dean Don't tell anyone but I wish I'd bought an HB20 instead of the machine I did buy.
  2. Spot on. :thumbup1:
  3. Agreed, twice and thrice! We should be striving to get our pricing absolutely sky high. We take a risk, the work abuses our bodies and our essential gear costs a lot. Undercutters are half-wits IMO.
  4. Agreed. If you make slow cuts it all goes wrong. It has to be full throttle no matter how small or what you're doing.
  5. Oh sorry. Since the start I've liked it and it still performs the same today. I've never used a 201t so I can't compare. So long as it performs and the dealer/manufacturer support is good if it breaks, I don't care what colour it is. I've had several bad experiences with bad support from Stihl UK (my dealer is good) therefore I've changed to any other brand. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  6. ?? I have a 560xp if that's what you mean. Yes, very happy with it. All staff prefer it to the Stihl equivalent. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  7. No Dave, I've said it more than twice! If someone makes them, I'll buy them.
  8. I think she's given up on us. I used to have all Stihl. Now I have a mixture. I won't be buying more Stihl. Famous last words.
  9. Oh no, here we go again. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  10. Try Googling Sikaflex. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  11. Erm, what about a tracked chipper? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  12. I'd be very interested to know about ALL of your reasons for it being a bad idea. I can work out all the advantages but the disadvantages could be a costly mistake for me. Thanks in advance. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  13. God help you if it ever breaks down in August cos Italy closes for the month. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  14. My 6yr old boys first time out today. His grin almost broke the visor. Ducatti 1198s Corse in case you wondered. And yes I know I'm an irresponsible father. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  15. I've always used mine with a Cinch but feel a Positioner will be an improvement, for me anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  16. That is exactly the route I'm thinking about next Mark. Ideally I'd like a 3.5t tipping trailer that has a bed 1 inch off the road and weighs 200 grams. I'll let you know if I find the Holy Grail and Jimmy Hoffer while I'm at it.
  17. IMO the price is irrelevant. For the amount if time I spend in a pair if boots, comfort is the only factor when choosing. Price and appearance is just not a factor.
  18. Also, if you're doing it cheap now, no one will tolerate your price hike when you implement it. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  19. Then I politely suggest that you are a fool. You should charge the going rate so that you can make a profit and pay for repairs and running costs. Clients will also regard you as a credible professional. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  20. Priorities for chipper choice IMO should be in this order: Performance/reliability. Support from dealer. Price. Price is actually a non issue in my opinion because whilst it's working it's earning money. If it's broken or waiting three weeks for a part, it's costing money. I've used Timberwolf 150, and the Schleising, Bandit and Jensen counterparts. The TW150 is the worst performer by far due to the design. However, I've seen the new one on the turntable which looks like a proper commercial performer. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  21. The Echo hedge cutters are very good and have cutters designed for thick stuff. Obviously you'll need an Easy Lift Harness to compliment any hedge cutter. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  22. Flipping heck! What do you use that for? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  23. Presumably you can load it in your lorry and tip it Graham? There's some allotments in Reigate that I think would love it. I'll pm you. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
  24. I have a job laying a patio 2nd week of September. I've been let down and am now desperate for another person to help get the job done in time. I need someone with a bit if experience. Let me know your day rate, the job is five days but if it's done sooner there will be a bonus. It's in Merstham, Surrey. Call Desperate Al on 07834414271. Thanks. 25. That's the bank managers problem! Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app.
